Anyone know of a prebuilt console that I could plug into hdmi on tv and play Intellivision Dracula? None of the flashbacks I can see for sale offer it….

The Atgames Intellivision Flashback didn't have Imagic games nor did it have hdmi output. I don't know if you'll ever see an Imagic collection on Evercade or something similar. Your best bet is to use a small computer with hdmi output.

Walldog1 yes but I would need composite or hdmi connection to get it to connect to my tv. Is that possible? If so shoot me a pm!

I was originally hoping there was like a home brew retro type system but it seems like modding an original is the best way to go

If you are interested, I can rebuild an Intellivision 2609 and install Crayon King's RGB Mod Kit as well. I have everything on hand.

Is that what you are asking about?

Can you do that to an Intellivision 2? That would be awesome!

I see an eBay listing in German:

I just don’t know what it says, or how much that costs in American money.

OK, the link works when using my phone, but not when using my laptop.

It is listed at 319 EU, which is just over 340 US

It’s an original consolle refurbished and modified to have an RGBT or HDMI output.

Ah!  Sounds interesting.  But ... I suppose it is PAL and with that funky power plug thingy, right?  I would not be able to use it in the USA?

Yes, PAL with those funky (but standard here in Europe) plug!🤣🤣🤣

They added also the light on/off led.

You can check on their website, box bottom right corner…

Do you suppose they would do the same to an NTSC console?  I would like to buy this one, but the last time I purchased a PAL console to test my games, it was sort of difficult to be able to play it on my TV -- not to mention dealing with that funky plug thingy! 😆

For an ntsc Intellivision with modified video/audio output see the fourth post. There are a couple of guys here that do them.

I’ll ask them and let you know.

They might also install a US plug I guess…

Yes it is possible to install Crayon's RGB boards into the original 2609, INTV II, Super Video Arcade, Sylvania/GTE, Tandyvision One, and at least the Super Pro System. I'd expect it is possible on all of them minus perhaps the those Tudorvision models or those that don't use the actual Color IC chip and have the large daughterboard setups. Even then it might be possible to find the needed signals to still make it work.

This may sound like a stupid question, but ... if a PAL console is modified to use HDMI, do the video and colour encoding differences to NTSC become moot?
