Geister
Apparently it did land but comms are weak. It must be Commodore based.

invisible kid
Hope it works out okay! Love the 8 bits, but if I'm gonna play Lunar Lander, it's going to be the arcade version! To be honest, wasn't even aware there was an 8 bit version.
+Larry
There was a really nice lander version in Analog mag. It had about 9 or so different screens/levels. I'll try to find it and post it tomorrow. It was my favorite lander game. A.I. had a nice one, too.
Albert
Intuitive Machines posted this update on Twitter an hour ago: After troubleshooting communications, flight controllers have confirmed Odysseus is upright and starting to send data. Right now, we are working to downlink the first images from the lunar surface. That's encouraging, didn't really sound too promising after it landed. ..Al

+Larry
There's the one I was referring to... The Atariamania page 2 has Lunar Patrol included. If you're inclined, make a few mods and try it with Turbo Basic XL or another faster Basic or compiler.

All that I've ever played have been bad to mediocre; and I don't see much to change that opinion on the list. Space Taxi is great; but let's face it, it's not Lunar Lander; Space Taxi is its own thing. (No offense to your brother; it's valiant to attempt such games in BASIC; but I think one has little hope of getting very far -- with the possible exception of compiled BASIC.)
