ah, in order to fix that would require serious refactoring. In this instance redistributing into 5 to 10 extra frames wouldn't be quick or easy.

The good thing is, we have the game on NTSC. That is always a plus.

for 60fps ANTIC blocks CPU more often than 50fps...so it's the answer why is slower

Soon we publish next version...the last testing now

v1.12 FINAL version:

1) changed starting image (no logo, NTSC colors will now be correct)
2) changed memory detection procedure (already works on real XEGS and should work on virtually all strange memory extensions)
3) improved colors for NTSC
4) fixed title screen flashing under NTSC
5) new description screens
6) new music when you write your name

While that is technically true, there are still more frames in a given time period, making things about the same or pretty close.

sorry...I cannot to explain it simplier :) the code of game is good....NTSC is slower than PAL..it's a fact

You need to set "Overscan Mode" -> "Vertical Override" -> "Extended". This will show all 240 scanlines for NTSC, rather than Altirra's default, which is something like 224.

Ahhh, thanks.  Why is the default less than the 240?

To emulate the more-common NTSC (CRT) experience, which is why this isn't an issue with an NTSC-centric game.

@Yautja maybe it would be a good idea to update this topic's title at this point - firstly, there is no mention there of which game it is, secondly, the game has been out for several weeks now :) Or at least adding some tags for this topic would be useful.

I wish I could edit the title or add HT. But I can't see the options to do so...

@tf_hh can you help with this please?

Sorry, I didn´t got a notice about this like usual 😞

I´m using the standard RAMBO banking scheme. PB2/PB3/PB5/PB6 and PB7, PB4 low enables xtra memory.

No worries Jurgen,

I'm sure this is helpful in any case.
