Ian Primus
I know that most people on this list have multiple Ataris, so I was wondering, what is your favorite model? Personally, I really like my Sears Telegames heavy sixer. What about you? Ian Primus ian.primus@usa.net
Mountain King
My favorite model was that girl at the Atari booth at E3. Oh wait you're talking about the actual Atari. I don't know I always liked my 4 switch although I have my heavy sixer hooked up right now. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Kathy Ireland in an Atari Shirt. Mindfield
I wouldn't mind seeing Kathy Ireland without an Atari shirt. But that's neither here nor there...
jawa
i like any of them with woodgrain
videotwit
I agree with Jawa - the classic Sunnyvale 6-switch is my favorite simply because that is what I had as a kid. Now I use an all-black 4-switch model (it is the cleanest I have, and looks cool with an all black "Vidlid Plus" sitting on top of it to hold my favorite / most played games - and to keep it free from dust). +-^CrossBow^-
I agree with Sark, I too have a Sears Telegames Heavy Sixer... That strange woodgrain pattern and silvery overlay for th switches sure is pretty!
+Random Terrain
I liked the look of my second Atari. It looked a lot like the older ones but it was black. I hate the look of the Atari Jr. though.
khryssun
My favorite models are : 1 - 6 switch model 2 - 4 switch model 3 - Darth Vader model I never owned the 6 switch model but I always thought it's design was really great. I don't like the Atari Jr look at all. Never thought before, but regarding my toplist, I realize Atari would never have changed the design of the original model. Eduardo
My Favorite 2600 models: 1-6 switch Sears/Telegames 2-Darth Vader 4 switch Atari 3-Atari 2800 (Sears 2) Awesome design, killer looks, perfect size.

MattyXB
My favourite model is my ATARI JR. COMPLETE BLACK Because this is very rare. The other one is my 6-switch version of the Atari 2600, because this was the first that I have as I was a child. Ok the new Atari 6-switch is not the same as the one as I was a child, but its nostalgic. Matthias
Marc Oberhäuser
The Darth Vader model is still very stylish and fits perfect to my tv-dvd-hifi equipment. MaO
VectorGamer
My favorite is the light sixer because that's the model I had as a kid. But, I do use the Atari 7800 for my 2600 gaming. For travelling, you can't beat the 2600 Junior!
mkiker2089
Call me weird but I like the Jr. My Favorite however is the Sears Arcade 2. I also have a Tele Games unit. I prefer the darker more refined wood pattern over that of the Atari branded ones.
RetroFiends
The Vader Model is definitely my first, followed by the Sears Telegames heavy sixer. It would be the other way around, but having "telegames" written on it knocks it down a point for me and I don't know why. The Vader one looks mean, and the Telegames has that awesome weird wood pattern thing going on.
PFL
rmaerz you're on a bit of a necro bumping spree aren't you? My favourite is the Jr. It's small, sleek and doesn't look out of place in the modern living room. It's just a great wee machine.
RetroFiends
+1 for all the Jr. Love. It really doesn't get enough credit. rmaerz you're on a bit of a necro bumping spree aren't you? I didn't even realize these were necromanced. But hey, the threads are new to me
VectorGamer
rmaerz you're on a bit of a necro bumping spree aren't you? A lot of down time at work today. totengott
only ones Ive ever had was the woodgrain light 6 and the rainbow jr...had a deal on a heavy 6 from Sunnydale, but shit fell thru
JadeETC
Light sixer is my favorite. That thick, rounded edging on the heavy sixer is a bit much for me.
Co Attican
I prefer the light sixer as well. Mostly due to the switches, but I like the light version because the ® is level with the text. Symmetry is one of those things that can irk me if it is off.
Dr Manhattan
Light sixer. I prefer the lines over the original heavy.
metarog
My fav is the 4 switcher as the sixers have the joystick port too low in the back for my taste. I never had a Vader but it looks great.
Mika73
6 switch woody and 2600 Jr France RGB scart model.
Sir Guntz
As strange as it sounds, the Coleco Gemini. I love its small size and the controller ports on the front. It's a fantastic little system that seems to play all 2600 carts without trouble. For a clone it's great. I also like the 2600 Jr. for similar reasons but I hate how the controller ports are on the back.
