Atari_Bill
Pathetic. Poor excuse for a seller and a pos for trying to circumvent the sale.

CPUWIZ
Why did you remove the link roadrunner? My guess would be, that he finally realized that posting ended auctions of this caliber, can have undesired consequences for someone.
+stupus
Yeah it probably doesn't help. Sadly the main cockroach that pulls this crap spends all their time trolling eBay for stuff to weasel out of buyers and sellers anyway.

+stupus
Man that sucks Dave, that was a nice deal for that cib. It will probably reappear on eBay in 2 weeks for $10,000.
atari181
Here is the link to the auction. It doesn't really matter now. https://m.ebay.com/itm/Apollo-Lochjaw-Atari-2600-Complete-in-Box-CIB-Rare/273130775919?epid=56235875&hash=item3f97dce56f:g:4q0AAOSwbc5aup4r I browse this thread often saying "damn, i wish i had found that" I do like seeing interesting and rare items sold. I am not 100% sure, but as soon as I received the message from the seller I logged into AA and found the link here. I would ask that anyone that sees a rare item go for a decent price in an auction wait at least 48 hours so that there is time to get the item in the mail. In this case I received a tracking number and the game was ready to be shipped. Unfortunately, there are scumbag out there that are not by v but jealous and see an opportunity it to swoop in and grab an item that is already sold. I will be posting more info either in bad eBay sellers or I may start a thread. I am extremely pissed and it is everything I have not to go total Tourettes right now. Atari_Bill
Slimeballs that try to break up deals are the worst filth out there. Let's hope it gets reposted. I'd hope we can all take turns purchasing and failing to pay for as many times as they try to resell.

Shawn
Very sorry Dave, i apologize Will wait days if not weeks till something ends before i post. Once again sorry I had alot of things over the years get cancelled too Should be easy to spot this if and when it pops up again There was a loose Lochjaw in a lot that was misspelled which ended the other day at less than $400. Thank God you didn't see and post that one. The manual for it was sold in a mixed lot by the same seller. Here is the re-listed CIB Lochjaw that the seller sold to someone named "Scott" for $500 more ($2k BIN) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scott-Only-/273131911416?hash=item3f97ee38f8%3Ag%3AYp4AAOSwBK5au6y3&nma=true&si=pKOTicnHvui%252BgdQ93Czaz81Vyhs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I could see that being as limit as it is paid for at that price by someone as the series has insane rabid fans even with all the hell Capcom has dished out over it for years now. Wow, lotta nice stuff there! Lots of vintage computer stuff. Unfortunately, I think this will likely be the fate of many of our collections in the coming years. How many of us actually have someone that would want this to be passed down to them. Couple that with the fact that older stuff will bottom out in price in the coming years (IMO) makes me think a lot of vintage gaming will be heading for the dumpster. Skippy B. Coyote
Stumbled on this earlier tonight while looking for a "High Definition Graphics" model 1 Genesis with TMSS. Not too interesting in terms of the items for sale, but certainly an interesting description. https://www.ebay.com/itm/292654432209
tep392
I just spotted this on the ebay. It might be one of the 2 carts I built years ago. I added the "Enhanced Sound" graphic to the lower left of the label. A little pricey though. I'm guessing Al can build them for less with POKEY donor. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pac-Man-Collection-Atari-7800-Pokey-Cart-Arcade-Quality-Sounds/153093357952?hash=item23a5134180%3Ag%3A7osAAOSwNppbV7t8&_sacat=0&_nkw=pac-man+collection+pokey&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR2.TRC0.A0.H0.Xpac-man+collection+pokey.TRS0
Swami
Well, I can't even find the funny strange thread anymore, so I'll just post this here: Any 5200 games to go with the console? EDIT- hold up, that sealed game is in the lot's photo! So they're double-dipping, or do they have two? It look like the same copy... I know little about this cart, but the ad is flakey. No mention it is Atari in the title, and no mention of where it was discovered. Plus, I am selling it for my cousin???? At any rate, some of you will likely know right away if this is real. Edited October 2, 2018 by Tombstone

Mitkraft
Pretty sure thats a hijacked account. Someone should report it to eBay so they can investigate. I cant at the moment or I would.
