its not even the chess piece box.

Guess its all in fairly good shape and has the ac and paddle boxes.

But I don't see anything special about it unless I missed something.

So yeah, seems like people got a bit bid crazy....

I'm contemplating getting a nice early model 2600 box for display, but I probably have to get a console with it, and it would probably be smart to do that as the matched set would retain its value better...although ... It is unlikely I would ever sell it. I already have a 6switch 4switch and Sears model I and II, so don't really want another random 2600 console until I sell one of these I have. Not sure it is worth the trouble and paying way over $100 for the set to have a nice box that just sits there, though.

It's possible the price is high because it is a cib Sunnyvale 4-switch system. Still seems slightly high to me, but you know collectors!

So the repaired four switchers with the 6/4 bottom are collectors items b/c the bottom was made in Sunnyvale?

Wow, magazines now going for almost $300? SMH. Last EG issue I needed and I made a valiant effort, but absolutely no way I'm ever paying that much for a magazine.

Wow... if you're gonna try and pawn a composite -> HDMI converter off as a specialty device, at least print a good label for it!

Also amusing to me- I recognize that grey box with the 720/1080 identification in it. This is MY converter (this one:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I482KZI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). So, I guess props for not using a super-cheap one?

I wonder who at Atari dreamt this up? Did they do a lot of weird action figures in the 90's unrelated to their games, as far as I can tell.

I believe this was part of Primal Rage for the Jaguar. There were a few different figures made.
