Great Hierophant
According to the AtariAge store page, I have created a list of the games that use bankswitching methods the Krokodile Cartridge does not support. Here it is: Arcadia/Starpath Supercharger Communist Mutants from Space Dragonstomper Escape From the Mindmaster Fireball Frogger, The Official Killer Satellites Labyrinth Party Mix Phaser Patrol Rabbit Transit Suicide Mission Survival Island Sweat: The Decathlon Game Sword of Saros FE Decathlon Robot Tank E0 Frogger ][: Threeedeep Gyruss James Bond 007 Montezuma's Revenge Mr. Do's Castle Q*Bert Q*Bert's Qubes Star Wars: Arcade Game Star Wars: Death Star Battle Super Cobra Tooth Protectors Tutankham E7 Bump 'n Jump Burgertime MOTU: Power of He-Man F0 Megaboy Pitfall ][: Lost Caverns

Blackjack
I had been curious about this but didn't want to ask. Thanks for the list.
+jetset
Actually this could become a very cool thread as we get to make the list more accurate...maybe would do well as a sticky. TWO days 'till shipping! (me hopes)
Cobra Commander
thats a pretty short list in the scope of things, I've been waiting for mine since forever, cant wait.
keilbaca
Except for the supercharger games, I own every one of those, I can't wait to get the Krocodile Kart! Well, except for Qubes

Great Hierophant
I am basing this on Kevin Horton's 1997 2600 Bankswitching document, so some of the info may be out of date.
Albert
I have split the posts about converting the E0 games to a new bankswitch method to a new thread: 2600 Bankswitch Conversions ..Al
adams_ale
what games does the Cuttle Cart II not play? Does it play all the 2600 games? Still purchasing and eagerly anticipating the Krokodile Kart.
Great Hierophant
The only game currently in existence the Cuttle Cart II should not play is Pitfall II. Decathlon, Robot Tank, Space Shuttle, Supercharger games and Dark Chambers (2600) may depend on the 7800 in question and can be modified to do so if it will not. Demos that use the 3E bankswitching scheme or other obscure scheme will not work either.
Mayhem
The only thing I can't get working on my CC2 is Pitfall 2. I actually wish someone could hack it but sadly you can't (as the chip provided more than just sound enhancement). Part of the confusing thing is that Space Shuttle, for example, has a different bank switching mode for NTSC and PAL versions...
Mot
what games does the Cuttle Cart II not play? Does it play all the 2600 games? Still purchasing and eagerly anticipating the Krokodile Kart. Well we do have: Are there any games that won't work?Pitfall 2 will not work on the Cuttle Cart 2. It's special chip is too complicated to emulate in the Cuttle Cart 2's bankswitching logic chip. Other games might be found to be incompatible as well, especially as certain 2600 games will not work on 7800s. These games will most likely not work on the Cuttle Cart 2 either. from: http://www.schells.com/cc2.shtml Now the question is: Has there been any new games that Chad can not make a bak switch file for? Someone sad that the CC2 will play 2600 games on a 7800 that the same game will not play with the cart. This had something to do with the "sync" line or something that the CC2 has and a 2600 cart does not. We will have to have Bruce Tomlin speak about it. 4ever2600
Does it do the CBS Ram Plus games like Tunnel Runner, Omega Race, Mountain king? Thanks!

Bruce Tomlin
Decathlon, Robot Tank, Space Shuttle, Supercharger games and Dark Chambers (2600) may depend on the 7800 in question and can be modified to do so if it will not. None of those games are a problem when put on a 7800 cartridge board, which has the necessary phase-2 clock line. A 2600 cart had to "guess" when that clock was going to happen. Mayhem
And as said, I've not had a problem with any of them in CC2.

crash
Is there no way to coerce Dragonstomper to work on a Kroko cart? Hackers, shouldn't this be a top priority?
kmarker
So based on the list of non-compatiable games that was first published and the conversions that have been done to date, it looks like the following are the current games that remain non-compatible with the Krokodile Cartridge. An unbelievable short list! Does this look accurate to everyone? - All the Arcadia/Starpath Supercharger Games - Montezuma's Revenge (supposely have been converted, but can't locate) - Mr. Do's Castle (converted, but doesn't 100% work) - Burgertime - Megaboy - Pitfall 2: Lost Caverns Arcadia/Starpath Supercharger Communist Mutants from Space Dragonstomper Escape From the Mindmaster Fireball Frogger, The Official Killer Satellites Labyrinth Party Mix Phaser Patrol Rabbit Transit Suicide Mission Survival Island Sweat: The Decathlon Game Sword of Saros FE Decathlon - Converted to be compatible Robot Tank - Converted to be compatible E0 Frogger ][: Threeedeep - Converted to be compatible Gyruss - Converted to be compatible James Bond 007 - Converted to be compatible Montezuma's Revenge - Supposely converted, but can't locate Mr. Do's Castle - Converted to be compatible, but doesn't 100% work. Popeye - Mistakenly left off the original list, but has been converted to be compatible. Q*Bert - Mistake from original list. Compatible. Q*Bert's Qubes - Converted to be compatible Star Wars: Arcade Game - Converted to be compatible Star Wars: Death Star Battle - Converted to be compatible Super Cobra - Converted to be compatible Tooth Protectors - Converted to be compatible Tutankham - Converted to be compatible E7 Bump 'n Jump - Converted to be compatible Burgertime MOTU: Power of He-Man - Converted to be compatible F0 Megaboy Pitfall ][: Lost Caverns According to the AtariAge store page, I have created a list of the games that use bankswitching methods the Krokodile Cartridge does not support. Kroko
The new run (Revision 1.1) of the Krokodile supports E7 bankswitching. That means you can remove HeMan, Burgertime and Bump'n Jump. Edited May 5, 2006 by Kroko

supercat
Demos that use the 3E bankswitching scheme or other obscure scheme will not work either. The 64K version of 4A50 works, as does 3E.
