Numen as a single executable file? I think that's a first, no?

It's been for years. There's also a looped version which requires 320+64KB of ram. Also in a single file. 

I'm afraid, Numen depends on PAL timings and will not run on an NTSC system.

No, it doesn't. It just loads and starts, therefore it's good for a presentation cart (I think so).

Yeah, good to have it just run the demo itself; but I would like a version that includes intro screen too (even if it's just the loading progress); for me, that's just as much a part of Numen.

I once made a 360KB floppy (double sided), that had this loading screen and required no disk change. I wonder if it could be adopted for a cart...

It's real, thanks to @jhusak. And it works. And it has a menu and a loading meter fully working 😁

Did that many years ago. All you have to do is use copy + append under DOS and copy the two main files into one large file. 

 

BUT... that way the demo works, but there is no setup screen and no outro. So it was not perfect.

It was me who begged Fox for a looped version of Numen. And after some years (and more begging) he did it.
