AtariGeezer
TheNightstrike and droids look like the PCBS are falling out or at least mounted weirdly... Yep, I pointed that out to the seller, he thought that was normal. But for $15.99 each, I think I should be able to fix that pretty easily
+orpheuswaking
I'd be interested in seeing what the issue is... Could be a broken mount...
Marius
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 120716120235 Pretty cool. He also got a sealed Mac/65 cartridge, but that one is too expensive for me. Greetz M.
AtariGeezer
I'd be interested in seeing what the issue is... Could be a broken mount... Received the two carts today, the mounts are intact, but the bottom edge of one half of the case has a cut-out to allow space for the ROM to fit (when extended). Looks like someone had issues with these not fitting in properly or some tweeker had a "bright idea" ? I carefully took these apart and put the PCB's back to where they should be and they fit fine in an 800XL with the cases put back together. Good thing is that they both work
fibrewire
Looks like someone had issues with these not fitting in properly or some tweeker had a "bright idea" ? Only people from southern california may know what a 'tweeker' is http://www.urbandict...hp?term=tweeker - especially definition #3 Being that we are technology enthusiasts, we experience the same symptoms as tweekers do whenever we stay up for a few days

JohnBuell
again me http://rhodblog.word...tari-pochettes/ I'd love to be able to find more of the 1984 Olympics stuff. I saw someone had an 800XL on ebay with the Olympics logo (although I can't find the listing now). I did manage to find a coffee cup with the '84 logo on Etsy last year though! flashjazzcat
Another Atari on eBay mysteriously pulled at the last minute because it's "no longer available": 65XE (Faulty) eBay Auction -- Item Number: 270740517506 eBay UK for Atari related stuff is becoming a case of diminishing returns. It's just not worth the investment of time watching this crap only for it to get pulled when it doesn't raise fortunes. I dunno who created the impression that busted 8-bits and knackered old 15KHz CRT monitors are worth 50GBP.
fibrewire
I dunno who created the impression that busted 8-bits and knackered old 15KHz CRT monitors are worth 50GBP. Well, stateside I believe it's me. Singlehandedly even. Why, today alone I am shelling out close to $1500 for busted 8-bit stuff. Believe me, that feeling of disgust is compounded by me actually being the guy doing the 'shelling out' - I know I have an addiction, but... Meh... ** blows brains out **
flashjazzcat
Well, stateside I believe it's me. Singlehandedly even. Why, today alone I am shelling out close to $1500 for busted 8-bit stuff I would if I could, so I can't really complain about that. I'm just glad I was able to get some decent gear before eBay went to s**t in the UK. I recall a fully working XF551 which sold for about 30GBP last year, and which I narrowly missed. I'd have made damned sure I got it if I'd known it was the last sub-£100 example.
