Wait, another Atari game compilation? Is there anything to distinguish Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration from all those that came before? Is it worth our time and money? Do these people even get why we so love Atari? Tempest 2000 answers these questions for us: "YES! YES! YES!"
This deep dive into Atari 50 walks through the entire experience, not just Jaguar, but revi

Use slick animation, vibrant colors, and a complete lack of limbs to defeat the evil Mr. Dark in Rayman! In this giant-spiky-fruit-sized episode, we learn the history of Ubisoft as well as Rayman's platform-hopping path to production. We then walk through the game, compare the different ports, find a Portuguese typo, and cover more previews and reviews than you can shake an Electoon at. But don't shake El
I figured there was no reason to withhold my episode plan for anyone curious about which games were coming up, beyond what I list off at the end of each episode. I'm using a mix of part number and chronological ordering, and it's of course subject to change, but this is my plan as it stands today.

While there are a number of ways to play Wolf3D on a modern computer, but I'm trying to be as authentic and retro as possible, and Wolfenstein 3D doesn't get any more retro than a 5 1/4" floppy disk.
I'll be talking more about this in the episode, but that's the original floppy disk I bought from a shareware vendor, my first taste of first-person shooters.
I don't st

I've been thinking about it for years, actively planning for months, and now I've finally launched my new podcast, Atari Jaguar Game by Game (obviously, given the name of this blog). I'm alternating between excited and terrified, though currently leaning toward the latter. Leaning heavily.
