Episode Guide

I figured there was no reason to withhold my episode plan for anyone curious about which games were coming up, beyond what I list off at the end of each episode. I'm using a mix of part number and chronological ordering, and it's of course subject to change, but this is my plan as it stands today. My Retro Video Game Jack-O-Lanterns

Over the past few years, I've been making retro-gaming designs for jack-o-lanterns. As we approach Halloween, and without a Halloween-themed episode coming up (spoiler alert: Dino Dudes is not scary) I thought I would share some of those, even though none are Jaguar-related. My son suggested I carve Skylar this year, but I'm nowhere near that talented. Most jack-o-lanters are basic binary designs: either there's a hole in the pumpkin, or there isn't. You can create a lot of cool designs like

Revisiting DOS Wolfenstein 3D

In researching episode 13 of the Atari Jaguar Game by Game Podcast, I needed to revisit the original Wolfenstein 3D for DOS. While there are a number of ways to play Wolf3D on a modern computer, but I'm trying to be as authentic and retro as possible, and Wolfenstein 3D doesn't get any more retro than a 5 1/4" floppy disk. I'll be talking more about this in the episode, but that's the original floppy disk I bought from a shareware vendor, my first taste of first-person shooters. I don't st

I'm alternating between excited and terrified, though currently leaning toward the latter. Leaning heavily. Ferg and Phil and Willie and Ar-Kay have given me great encouragemen
