Squids
I ate fried squid at a Chinese buffet once. It tasted like you'd expect. I liked the fried part. They are hard to draw. In the Pokemon Mini version of the game, I drew what I thought was a good looking squid (well, as good looking as I could make one.) I tried to duplicate it yet making it look different at the same time. I don't really like this version of the squid, but seeing as how I achieved everything I wanted to do while drawing it, it will stay in the game.
Now that I actually know how to select certain tiles to avoid, I put it to good use here. You can't go through any part of the squid. So Frank has to go down at the bottom and avoid the moving tentacles. I worked on this while I had a bout of insomnia last night. I couldn't get to sleep. It was after 3 a.m. when I finally did. I woke up at 2 p.m. and decided that I was determined to fix the randomness that wasn't working.
I noticed the dolphin was always starting jumping at the last hole. I went and took a look at the random example code and saw I was missing a crucial step: I had forgot to put seed=DIV_REG in the game. So I put that in and it fixed everything like I wanted. So tomorrow I will work on the game some more. I don't really want the game to be an exact copy of the Pokemon Mini version, so I will try to think up new stuff as well, which is hard, while also mixing up the old stuff's order.
