Easter rabbits
I woke up at 2 p.m. As usual. But what was unusual today is the fact that I was sneezing and blowing my nose a lot. Eventually I settled down after a few hours (and about a third of a roll of TP later.) I didn't do anything special. I spent a lot of the day working on my Yum! Game Gear game. And when I was done with that, I sat down and tried to think of six comic strip ideas.
I've decided to bring back my comic strip about three rabbits for my webcomic page. I have Sundays built up until late May, but nothing on the weekdays. So I decided to bring the rabbit comic back. Quite fitting it was on Easter I was drawing rabbits.
I can fit six weekday comics on a page. Since I have a Sunday comic, it's fitting that I can fit a week's worth of comics on one page then. I take up a whole page drawing the Sunday ones, then I shrink them down to 15% so they're not really huge like the weekday ones. This comic above (was shrunk down, and) is fitting because it's supposed to rain about 2 inches tonight into tomorrow here. When it's raining I get super sleepy.
I found an Atari 2600 sighting in the Sunday comics. Check out today's "Crabgrass" comic. Seems kind of odd that a couple of kids were playing it, but oh well. So now I'm working on the week after next's batch of rabbit comics. I like drawing rabbits. They're easy to draw. Dogs are very hard to draw. So are horses. And cows. I like my scanner. It's the only way I can share my comics I make because it's really hard to draw with a mouse.
I think it must be really hard to draw a comic each day, especially if they have a theme and recurring characters. Makes me wonder how all the cartoonists in the paper do it each and every day.
