Sound effects
As it turns out, the sample code in the Goat Tracker's examples .s files don't work. They're broken. So I had to think up of a work around. I got sound effects in the game, but I had to get rid of the level 1 music in order to do so. And to shut up the music player, I put in a totally silent file since it just has to repeat all the songs over and over again. I didn't want to have to do that, but I had no other choice if I wanted sound effects.
I don't want to work on this any more today, so I doubt I will. I'm just frustrated with this all. Frustrated and hot. And the A/C is running and I'm still hot. My feet were cold last night so I put on some socks. They were gingerbread men with the words "BITE ME" on them. Christmas socks, I know, but I just don't care.
So the next time I work on the game, I'll work on putting in level 2. Since I know how to draw sprites, I should hopefully be able to put in the chicken nugget and change the clouds to fish. But who knows with the way things are going for me programming this.
