+TrekMD
I will patiently wait until the final version that you want to release is created. This version now is fun to play and I'll enjoy it on the emulator until the cartridges are out.
kenfused
If YOU really want to spend the time redoing the game you should do so. I think the game is still most excellent in its current form (as evidenced by the number of people wanting cartridges). I am guessing the original game used a bitmap screen and the 7800 is not actually overflowing with RAM to do so. I am guessing you could save RAM by making everything white and have people tape color overlays onto there screen for a more arcade like experience . shadow460
I never played the current version. I'm just a fan of Bob and the work he does. Ain't no limit, Bob. Do whatcha want with it, and if you can make the carts, we'll buy 'em!
kamakazi
Best of luck to you! Let me know when it's completed. I'm learning as well, if I find anything out, I'll send it your way.
potatohead
I second Gorf's post. Absolutely do it the best way you know how. Really, these things are a labor of love. Why not? Your current version is top-notch, BTW. Love it, and would easily buy a cart. Good job.
+remowilliams
making everything white and have people tape color overlays onto there screen for a more arcade like experience . Now there's a great idea - why should the Vectrex have all that fun to itself, the 7800 has gone without overlays for too long!

GrizzLee
making everything white and have people tape color overlays onto there screen for a more arcade like experience . Now there's a great idea - why should the Vectrex have all that fun to itself, the 7800 has gone without overlays for too long! I agree with overlays. I actually made a modified version of SI and Asteroids for the 2600 with a everything green. I put some colored overlays on the monitor for ginrs and I was blown away by the nostalgic look. It ook the edges off the intesity. BTW: If the reservation list is on again. I must have a copy Thanks, -Lee
the.golden.ax
Now that the old version is being killed off, I'd be happy to buy any of those ten copies that anyone no longer wants... you know... because it's obsolete now. See, you don't need it anymore. So sell it to me. AX
