Underball
One thing I did notice - in the latest Bin, the monsters eyes look like the Pac-Man Collection "updated" ones, but the monsters' "feet" still look like the original 7800 Ms Pac version. Shannon
Still messing with this. Can't seem to get the difficulty switches to work right in prosystem emu. Anyways thought I would point out that if the fruit destroys a power pellet offscreen what actually happens is you'll here the fruit sound stop. When the screen moves to where you can see the pellet, then you'll hear the sound and see the pellet destroyed. Mayhem
Nice work there... and yeah we're used to it so much now that I was waiting for this to be another homebrew As for boxes to confirm, they are not usually offered at the store here, you just contact Marc if you want to buy them from him. Let me say, the guy knows his stuff and they are always excellent. Now about boxes for Space Invaders and Beef Drop on the 7800...!
Trebor
If you can post the latest a7800.c file from MESS here I can update the NTSC pallete. Attached is the latest a7800.c file from the MESS source (0.130) available here: http://www.mess.org/download.php If the entire source is downloaded, the needed file is located in \src\mess\drivers. It would be great to see this update to the palette become a permanent change in the "official" distribution. Perhaps the changes can be submitted via here: http://www.mess.org/contacts.php I *really* appreciate this Underball. Thank You, Trebor a7800.zip
Shannon
I have some changes to the two joystick buttons being backwards and a one button mode fix. As well as high score cart support if someone wants to try and integrate and commit them. I don't have a setup for compiling MESS under winblows.. Greg2600
Outstanding Bob! I wonder what the possibilities are for a Pac-Man Collection II (Super and JR.)? Unless those two can fit on a cart with the other PMC games!

Thank You, Trebor a7800.zip I should be able to patch it up, but it might take a while. all that unnecessarily verbose "MAKE_RGB ()" crap around all the hex color values is going to make it much more time consuming to update. Chris-in-NJ
Aargh! Now I know why I'd given up on emulators in the past. I downloaded the ProSystem emulator. The only .bin that works gives me just the ghosts and Jr. Pac-Man in the middle of the screen. All the other ones Vista tells me can't be found when I try to open them from ProSystem. When the screen moves to where you can see the pellet, then you'll hear the sound and see the pellet destroyed. I had seen this early on, but forgot about it This has been fixed. Will post the binary once I can get somewhere with these intermissions... I need to create a Web Site for myself soon as well. Actually I should have had it done last month - I'm starting up something new as well. More details as I get closer to completion. I have a tendency to procrastinate with the things that may be difficult or tedious. Edited April 2, 2009 by PacManPlus

The .bin file has no header so Prosystem has to assume certain things about the ROM that are probably incorrect.
GaryH917
Hey guys, just a quick question? Will any of the 7800 Emulators work on a Computer using Windows Vista Home Premium and a 64-Bit Operating System? Just thought I'd ask since I've never tried any of the Emulators before... Thanks Guys...
