I would like to infrom You all that VBXE 2 prototype is fully operational, thus we all can go into second stage of production.

I've estimated production volume for 50 boards, and will be fabricating 75 boards total

if You like to preorder You need to post here how many boards You would like to purchase, and in which system they should be (PAL/NTSC)

PAL units come WITHOUT crystal oscillator - for XE series, and XL series with FREDDY chip You need to remove crystal from mother board, and insert it into VBXE

NTSC units comes WITH crystal oscillator as it is stock item - regardless crystal oscillator from motherboard needs to be removed. Clock is generated on VBXE

preorder ends 12.07.2009, then production begins, 2 weeks for PCB, another two or three weeks for assembly

final price for VBXE2 + adapter is $122 (87 euro)

shipment cost to the US is $10

shipment to the europe is 7 euro

i cannot accept credit cards with my PayPal account, pm me for details.

if anyone has some question feel free to ask, if they are hardware specific (if the board would fit etc) please ask them in VBXE 2 thread

Unfortunately, it looks like I won't be able to participate - life's issues being a conspiring thing to get in the way of my desires, I need to bail out and let others take my place. So there is a need to cancel all my preorders/orders for various things from a couple of vendors here. (The money is sorely needed elsewhere and the nonessentials get the axe first)

I'm sorry about this. :(

I'll probably be selling off a few of my Atari-related items, including mt Cuttle Carts (1 & 2)

I confirm my order for a PAL XE (it's a 65xe that had a 130xe motherboard which I added a socketed Freddie and the extra ram)

Is the $120 for the VBXE2 + the AOSD?

I'm just hoping I don't damage anything installing it :)
