atariluvr77
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Colecovision-Adam-Hybrid-Controller-/311878678326?hash=item489d6af736:g:fXsAAOSwjL5ZIxEs Is there any merit to this sellers claim? My first reaction was it's straight up BS, the controller would be so easy to make... I have one with a black base and white top I made myself. 7800fan
Black and white parts used the same mold, they are interchangeable. Either the seller knew this and is trying to milk sucker buyers, or the seller found it at Goodwill and assumed it was a rare variation and not some 2 minutes hack job. Swami
Was originally listed for $1500. After not selling, was relisted for $5000. http://www.ebay.com/itm/172704985350?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2661&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Swami
Why did I spend my money on college in the 80's? https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01G3O5JE8/ref=dp_olp_collectible_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=collectible not technically an auction site, but unbelievable. cybercylon
Okay... I know this is for ebay and other auction listings, but spotted this on Craigslist: https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/vgm/d/super-nintendo-snes-bundle/6191270534.html To say that it is a little cracked is understating it. Swami
Some of these "may" be reproductions? More like you know for sure they are fake and just trying to find a sucker. I like how he "happens" to leave off music machine in the title...."I'm so dumb I'm accidentally selling music machine under $100. Come take advantage of me." 7800fan
Those sellers are taking a risk selling it without clearly stating it is reproduction ("may" be repro isn't enough). There's nothing to stop a buyer from claiming it is counterfeit and showing link to thread like this one showing the difference between real and repro and keeping the game while getting 100% refund. eBay and Paypal tended to side with buyer and when there's claim of counterfeit, they may ask the buyer to destroy it.
Swami
Just what kind of arcade game was this, anyway, LOL. Curious what the text might say with the starbursts or whatever they are, but it is too blurred to read. "S.A.M.I., He Just Never Stops Putting Out" https://www.ebay.com/itm/S-A-M-I-1970-Midway-Arcade-Advertising-Flyer/220951840385?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D44040%26meid%3D8c45ef2a5e0548fca47cd2d91e4e3a17%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D222791979098&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Appears to be some kind of 60s (?) electromechanical arcade game with holograms from Google investigation. They didn't even bother to put under "New Other". Also they didn't bother to include photos of the actual supposed "like new condition" console and opted to give you a stock photo instead. +Schmitzi
The one and only sad thing in this topic here is that I only see broken ebay links, due to the fact that auctions go down and offline after a time. Would be nice to post some pics from the auctions and text maybe, next to the link, to keep some fun for the legacy. Today you can scroll down here more than 40 pages, with so much written, but with absolutly no information what about this all is... Just saying
