Jess Ragan
Hey, Tempest! It'd be easy... just have the player buy one of those Gemini controllers. It's a joystick and a paddle built into one controller! JR
Spector
What about Paperboy? I don't understand why it wasn'tdone for the 7800, but there you go. The reason why I'd like this one is because it's impossible. Paperboy is the game that defies conversion. By the way, how come Green Goblin knows about the Spectrum? He comes from the US; I thought Americans only knew about the Commodore 64.
Friend of Sonic
Hey... I think I'm the only Sonic the Hedgehog freak on this board (makes me unique? LOL) so I defintely have to bring up Sonic the Hedgehog. Yes, I know, you wouldn't be able to tell what the heck was happening on the screen, and it probably wouldn't be able to be done... but that'd just be cool LOL
Joel D. Park
I would have liked to seen M.U.L.E. but there are so many little dots and stuff drawn on the map during "Growing Season" I don't know how it would have been kept track of. +Zeptari
My wife and I would love to see a 2600 version of Qix! Was that made for the 7800? ohhhh and don't for get about marble madness...
Adriana
Taito's Zookeeper would have been totally do-able on the 2600 -- seemingly. So would have Qix... I would have loved to have seen both of those.
Inky
I remember Zookeeper being annoounced at one time by Atari. Does a proto exisit?
Muddawg
There are some games that should be some other games made for the Atari Systems. I of course couldn't develop them, but if any one has some good ideas put them up here. and if anybody can develop them please do.
atarimastermarty
Super Mario brothers its a must i think we all will agree
Paul Slocum
Unfortunately, complex horizontal scrolling is next-to impossible on the 2600. But it would be nice to see another big-world platformer ala Pitfall II. -Paul
moycon
Archon!!! It seems like this one is do-able on the 2600?? Am I wrong? Man what a fun 2 player game that is!
liveinabin
Why?? we've already played all these games on other systems. I'd like to see new stuff for the 2600, but NEW stuff.

Guy Ferrante
Hi, I would love to see Lode Runner on the 2600, there where talks in the early 80's that it was Comming Soon. Atari8Man
Muddawg
True, Super Mario Bros. might be complex, but how bout a RAM expansio, like CBS did! Then Maybe someone could port it over to the VCS!
liveinabin
alright, if its ports we're after:- how about the Intellivision game - Tron - Solar sailer. Its such a great game. But that stupid controller is getting on my nerves!!! Come to think of it- yeah - this'll be my first home project, I'm going to rebuild the Intellivision - with decent controllers this time

Ze_ro
I hate to be a ColecoVision fanboy, but most of the games that (at the time) I saw as lacking were mostly ColecoVision games: Pepper II Looping Lady Bug (There's still hope) Jumpman Jr. And of course, better versions of Zaxxon and Buck Rogers would have been awesome (Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr on the Atari kinda sucked... but I think they were better translations than either of these). A few other games worth mentioning would be a hockey game (Anything, as long as it's better than Activision's Ice Hockey), and an Excitebike ripoff (I suppose someone would mention Motorodeo... but it's too damn rare! ) --Zero
rasty
Paperboy. Think of it with an overhead view (instead of 3/4 isometric as in the arcade) and vertical scrolling.. Papers to shoot, things to avoid, could be a hit! Rasty.-
MattyXB
Here some C64 games they I will see on an Atari 2600 VCS: Bomb Jack Boulder Dash Bubble Bobble Dynamite Dux Happy Hacker Jumpman & Jumpman Jr. Little Computer People Loderunner Mr Do's Wild Ride Pac-Land Qix Rainbow Island Solomo Key Spindizzy Super Pipeline 1 & 2 Wonderboy & Wonderboy in Monster World Matthias
ATARIPITBULL
How about if someone made the HULK game that Parker bros was going to do, but never did, or even the lord of the ring, since the movie is coming out this christmas. Nateo
Hey, Bubble Bobble would be a great game to port to the Atari! I love that game. All the cute little dragons and all the cute little enemies... come to think of it, Bust-a-Move could be doable as well. I still have faith in FallDown! I mean, Spindizzy? I don't think so! You'd have to mangle the game so much to get it to fit in an Atari game that it wouldn't even be the same anymore. Same goes for Bust A Move (Ever played the Gameboy version? It's terrible), though I suppose Bubble Bobble might be possible... --Zero
liveinabin
I'd like to see some old Ultimate games and Jetset willy or Manic miner, they were old Zx Spectrum titles that really broke new ground, it'd be nice for them to have a wider international stage.
