S1500
Going to stop by Rossi's Vintage Arcade & Pizzeria for lunch on the way. Yay!
Tempest
A camera in the 80's room would be neat. I'd bring one except I don't own ANY video camera. I can see it now 'Streaming live from my Atari ST!'
racerx
hey ill be there with the jaguar group again. i need to know if anyone needs extra tv's ive got my 2 the batman tv for dan and ive got 3 or 4 extras if needed. i also have a flatscreen monitor but really no way to hook any thing up to it. any one needs tvs let me know. I may end up needing them again, if you don't mind. It's been harder than I thought to find thrift store TVs with stereo composite hookups. Crazy Climber
Al hasn't come up in a while. Consequently, I don't think he believes the show is as big as it is. No doubt, keeps getting larger and larger.
RJ
Hey if anyone from the Twin Cities area or nearby (Im looking at you S1500 or Crazy Climber) can check the vendor area for me I'd greatly appreciate it: Im looking for Super Famicom "Amazing Odyssey" a pinball game for around $25 or less. Should work on a "modded" (2 tabs broke out) SNES. I'll obviously pay you back. Thanks in advance! Edited March 16, 2013 by RJ
Crazy Climber
So how many Minnesotans are making the trek over to MGC? There's 1. Me 2. Crazy Climber 3. T-800(I think) Anyone else? I'm betting I'll be seeing plenty of Pinball on a Stick shirts just like last year. FAbombjoy will be there with the usual crowd of rufions

S1500
I'll be in the white "now you're playing with podcast" shirt on Saturday, probably my Stern pinball shirt Friday, ??? on Sunday. Just smell for me, and I'll be there. In the meantime, this whole weekend has turned into plumbing work. Ugh.
Mirage
I'm officially out yet again this year unfortunately. There's no way I can get out of taking the kid to grandma's house next weekend. If it wasn't $30 to get in, I'd still stop by for an hour or two Saturday AM before leaving, but it's simply not worth it for a quick stop. It would have to be all day or both days or nothing Everyone have fun! If I find out there was a PET for sale there, I'm going to be severely irritated! Retro Rogue
We're actually going to have bands for the afterparties this year, and one's an AC/DC tribute band!

Nateo
I just realized I missed the pre-order period for tickets to this thing. That doesn't end up being a huge problem for me, does it?
wallydawg
I just realized I missed the pre-order period for tickets to this thing. That doesn't end up being a huge problem for me, does it? On Saturday morning the pre-order line is usually longer than the walk-in ticket line, for the last couple of years anyway.
Nateo
Well, I suppose that's good news for me, then. I am intensely looking forward to this; hoping to score me some C64 schtuff and play some killer pinball tables!
Crazy Climber
Holy schinkes!! It's $30 door charge this year? Weak...
Dan Iacovelli
don't blame the show for that blame the president you re-elected for his final term in office. with hardly any jobs and the country in recession prices are going up last week gas was down to 3.89 now its back up to 4.09. S1500
Holy schinkes!! It's $30 door charge this year? Weak... I could easily surpass that $ in pinball games alone when I'm there.

S1500
Aren't the pinball and video arcade games set on free play? Yep, it is all on free play. Not gonna buy a pin(even if it's another Centaur II for $600) since I'm saving for another vacation. Time to enjoy life.
the.golden.ax
I could easily surpass that $ in pinball games alone when I'm there. Aren't the pinball and video arcade games set on free play? Yes, he possibly means buying them? He means if they cost a quarter or fifty cents to play, he would easily spend $30 to pay and play all those machines. Since they are on Free Play, the cover charge is minimal due to the enjoyment one has for the price paid.
S1500
Yes, I meant the $30 for an entry fee pays you way more than $30 you would have to pay if all machines were 50 cents to a dolla. That's not even counting arcade games, & tons of home consoles to play. Worth every penny.
MattG/Snyper2099
He likely meant costing .25/.50 cents per game in an arcade. The amount I calculate is (.25+.50+.75)/3. It would take approximately 60 games at .50 cents per game to "pay for your entry to the show" using coin drop arcade equivalent values.
