+evg2000
Hey CM, do you use the PP physical address for shipping? I just want to make sure that if you have an address list that my proper address is on your list. I've had a couple of things sent to my old address by mistakes and it takes about a month for the PO to get them to me. What's the best way to make sure you have correct address? thanks, charles

NIAD
Congrats on nearing completion of the latest CollectorVision releases.... I'll be ordering all four shortly. One thing, however, Earth Defend 2083 looks exactly like Space Hunter... a game by Guy Foster and released in 2005 ???? While this style game has been done to death on the CV, I'm still in for a CIB, but are there any further details that can be shared with the masses? I'm confused about this too... how does Earth Defend 2083 differ from the Space Hunter game included on the "Canadian Mini Games 1" collection? Is this an extended/remixed version of the original game?
retroillucid
I'm confused about this too... how does Earth Defend 2083 differ from the Space Hunter game included on the "Canadian Mini Games 1" collection? Is this an extended/remixed version of the original game? From what I played, this is the same game, different title, slightly different music notes the guy probably did not know it was already release as part of the Canadian Mini Games compilation back awhile I also think Toby did not realize that either... Did that game is a clone of an original game? Pretty weird that two different guy went up making the very same game.....
Kiwi
I kinda knew I had a bad feeling when I saw this game, no offense blame my 6th sense. I would really highly suggest that you guys get a hold with Guy Foster before you start building the carts and stuff and let him know of Earth Defend 2083. He posted a comment on gamer65 review of Space Hunter under name of Xerxef.

He posted a comment on gamer65 review of Space Hunter under name of Xerxef. You're right, I will let Toby know about this My biggest fear would be that this is a "hack" of Guy Foster's Space Hunter In fact, I would be really mad! In another hand, if it's an original game ported for CV and ported by 2 different guys, then well, I would not see a problem Otherwise, next would be: Mr. Flint. ..... A clone of Mr. Chin. Hands full of plates!
Kiwi
There's a comment that there was already a cart release by RelliK. RelliKs Relic 1 year ago Actually 65Gamerguy the game was released as part of a mini game compilation called: Canadian Mini-Games 1 On this was: Easter Bunny -- platformer game, Daniel Bienvenu (2007) Diamond Dash -- exploration game, Daniel Bienvenu (2005) Joystick Test -- tests utility, Daniel Bienvenu (2008) Space Hunter -- space shoot'em up, Guy Foster (2006) Get Booty -- adventure shooting game, Dale Wick (2006) You can still get a cart Youtube won't let me put in the link but PM and I can give it to you Yea, hold up on that game. retroillucid
Does not look good judging by the Canadian Mini Games Collection instruction manual http://newcoleco.dev-fr.org/pics/1216867122-minigames1%20instructions.pdf
+evg2000
so would this be the first bootleg of a homebrew?

Hands full of plates! Yeah, it doesn't look good unless, of course, Guy gave his permission to this other programmer to fix bugs and make enhancements to the game as well as re-release it as a new game. I could be wrong and I hope I am, but my personal opinion...
