Hey all,

Another pre-NEO GEO game from the SNK archives; this is TOUCHDOWN FEVER!  Interesting little game of American Football for 1 player or 2 simultaneous players.  It's got a rotational knob for a controller that changes the direction of your pass or kick; it takes a while to get used to.  Also, it will take a while to get used to BASHING THE HELL out of the "run" button to speed down the field; otherwise the defenders can easily catch up with you.  If your direction isn't upwards you can look awful silly throwing/kicking the ball behind you or sideways out of bounds!  The timer for each game is very short, and if you lead at the end you can put in another credit and get 10 seconds more time than the previous game.  If you're too far away for a very makeable FG you'll automatically go in punt formation on 4th down.  Note that if the computer gets within one point on a TD in the closing seconds, they will ALWAYS go for two to try for the win!

This was the second Neo Geo thing that I ever bought (AES limited edition). Still waiting for them to finish it and ship it. They are also apparently considering making a Saturn version because they love the Saturn!

I think this was the smallest Neo Geo game ever made. I believe it has only 18 mega power. It never got released, of course, so Puzzled with 22 megs is the smallest game on the system that actually got released.
