Activision distributors worldwide.

Thanks a lot!!!

Very interesting list!???

Funny to see that Activision didn’t collaborate with any of the Mattel distributors… Not even one!

In the list there is not Digiplay / Digimed… That’s weird…

It's not mis translated, it's freely translated, because Happy Trails sounds strange in German: Fröhliche Pfade? wth ;)

The German title for Stampede is Lassohelden: Lasso heroes.

Pitfall is Abenteuer im Urwald (Adventure in the jungle) Pitfall in German would be: Falle

Yes, very interesting info Mike.

Thanks for sharing. I did not know alot of these international games were loosely translated like that. I thought only Digiplay/ Digimed did this.

Very cool!

It's only with this Activision games the case. And see it more as a sub title than the main title. Everyone in Germany (who is in retro gaming) calls Pitfall - Pitfall. ;)

I think the first foreign game that got a German main title was Hexenküche (witch kitchen) for the C64 from the UK. The original name was Cauldron which would be in direct translation: Kessel

Hey, so I recently picked up bunch of games and came across this. I couldn't find any mention of it in the different forums. Maybe it's so common and not worthy of a mention heh heh. Any input? Did they ever correct the misprint in the manual in later editions? I'll defer to the experts.

There are serval misprinted manuals that got extra errata sheets.

One of the card games has one and you’d think it was corrected up to its German release, no the same error in the German manual and an added sheet as well.

Looking over your list of boxes “opened’’, you have an Astrosmash Digiplay box, with a white sticker. Please post all views of said box, as I seem to be lacking that one in the global picture database?

Thanks in advance. And yes, I do have the sharp shot box in the picture.

Briefly thought "crap, I need that" and then remembered I sent Steve O a text about this a couple years ago. Lol.

Mine is from England and has the info slip with the instructions.

Thanks Hankster!

I bought mine from a Dutch seller, probably sold for the Dutch market…

Does an 0810 "Advanced Consumer Electronics" bottom flap text exist???

Probably not, that’s why you got the info slip for the UK market…

To answer your question regarding “Advanced Consumer Electronics’’ / Radofin distributor of this game box, No, their is not a version of Sharp Shot. The

reason being all game boxes, by this distributor were created before 1982. The Sharp Shot, and all other game boxes, with a 1982 release year, do not contain an

‘’Advanced Consumer Electronics’’ / Radofin distributor version. There is also a note on the distributor , in my history files, found from some digging up the history on the web.

Word-Fun-0810.jpg

It looks like we have a new variant !!!

Word Fun 0810 has three variants:

1 - the one posted by @Intellivisioner, standard bottom flap text here above.

2 - the one posted by @the1hatman, here below, "Advanced Consumer Electronics" bottom flap text

3 - the aussie version that should be an "Advanced Consumer Electronics" bottom flap text with the white Lifestyle Electronics bottom flap sticker.

Great!!!!🤠😎🤠🍾

I have no idea what you are talking about.

Thanks, and now that it is confirmed, would you mind posting clear pictures of all views, so it can be cataloged in the global database please? That being Front, Back, bottom & view plus a full inside view of said box. Seen as you are into the variants, I will forward a copy of my spreadsheet your way.
