I have Draconian. I thought it was a DPC+ cart, but I may be wrong. I’ll test my cart tomorrow.

The final version of Draconian is CDF, I believe.

The glitches are sometimes hard to notice.

Sometimes the game resets during play or instead of start but often there are just little graphic glitches sometimes obvious.

It worked fine on the first dumper.

But many thanks for the load, amazing improvements🤙

Medieval is the only game causing me trouble😊

Did you receive the new IO PCB board yet? That bad boy will grip those cart fingers and doesnt want to let go.

I have to keep playing but so far mine seems fine. Have you tried a different HDMI cable or a different TV?

I am also using the new paddles but that shouldn’t matter.

Intro music and all seems fine on mine.

It works with same setup and the original dumper, I downgraded some weeks ago and only the music sounds bad on one TV, the game worked fine all the time.

I cleaned it again and the glitches go down to a minimum but are still there.

The only hope to get it reliable is the prototype slot maybe😊

Edit: Find the glitches😉

Since people will probably be asking...

Here is reminder of how to install just the firmware update.  Skip down to the section labeled "Emulator Part 2":

Any way to do this from Linux or from a VCS?

Edit: Went through a few of the last pages of the thread... it's a no.  😕

Sorry to report Super Breakout paddles are now very jittery for me. First game I played I noticed when the ball broke through the top wall it was moving extremely slow. After I reset played again the ball seemed normal on break through but the paddles still very jittery. I didn’t have an issue with the paddles before. Yet there is no paddle issue with Medieval Mayhem.

Hello Ben,

not yet but it is in my country already and as I wrote before, that board might fix MY Medieval 😊

Overall the new load is a huge step and big success!!!

Thrust+ works, Juno 1st, my favorite game on the system works, Pitfall2 and Space Rocks will make many happy🤙

Chris and the others did such a great job👍

Draconion, Galagon and Super Cobra are the only carts out of 300? in my collection which do not work yet, that makes 1%, right?

Amazing🤗

Next week I should have the board and chances are high, Medieval will be fine😊

I will be on a Retro Gaming event hosted by a museum in Frankfurt on Saturday to let the people play 52 of my carts on the 2600+, therefore I won't change the board even if it arrives tomorrow 😉

Many thanks for all the efforts👌

BREAKOUT works great! I wonder if it’s easier to rerelease a newer version of Super Breakout to work with the paddles.

It baffles me that BREAKOUT and Medieval Mayhem work great with the paddles. What’s different about Super Breakout?

Coleco's Smurfs Rescue in Gargamel's Castle (NTSC) seems to still be eluding the 2600+.

It is the only non-homebrew original era game I have that does not work in the 2600+ (now that Pitfall II is fixed).

Is it one of those coleco games with different revisions?

Frustrating cause I have definately been sent footage of Smurfs working perfect.

Yes.

One interesting thing.... this same Smurfs Rescue cartridge back with 1.1x-r1 was reporting this MD5 hash:

smurf.thumb.jpeg.3f2805daa01c0629d4dd03cbcec978c9.jpeg

But now with 1.1x-r3 it is reporting this MD5 hash:

IMG_3521.thumb.jpg.f532a526fedd32e8a69a36071b0ae8e3.jpg

Maybe that helps troubleshoot it?
