roadrunner
If i'm doing something wrong let me know what it is. I thought the Air Raid, Atlantis II, and Crazy Climber auctions were interesting. Edited July 21, 2013 by roadrunner

Could someone ask the seller where the spot in the middle of the chair is coming from?
SoulBlazer
Could someone ask the seller where the spot in the middle of the chair is coming from? That's a stain. Doesn't look that bad, though.

roadrunner
Thanks for costing me extra money. Sorry about that. I don't see it listed in the AA data base. It almost looks like a Threshold cart with a different label.

What exactly was it? I was a little confused on that one myself? Looked Atari to me, but assumed not to be U.S.

Serious
This one is a puzzler. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F290949246430%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1438.l2649 It is a Journey t-shirt with an Atari tag that says "not for resale". So it seems like some kind of promotional material. The arcade game was Bally/Midway, and the 2600 game was from Data Age, so.. what the heck is this?? +atari2600land
Who has $2,500 to buy a GBA game? I think this is more of a show-off "look what I have and no, you can't have it!" than an actual attempt at selling something. And, according to NA, it's only an R4! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 261244188496

And, according to NA, it's only an R4! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 261244188496 I keep seeing these types of comments, this is not directed at you atari2600land, but everybody uses different types of search methods. Sellers know this, so they make one item in their store or listings, ludicrously high priced. What happens next... 1.) Collector of searches ebay. 2.) Collector gets bored digging through countless of crap. 3.) Collector filters search results, to sort by highest price item in their category. 4,) Collector finds insane price for a rare game. 5.) Collector decides to look at the sellers other auctions. 6.) Profit!
