I can scan those boxed for you if you like. Would be nice. But first things first: It would be great if these Double-Game packages and carts could be scanned. AtariBuff, Are you also going to scan the cart fronts and box backs of these Cooper Black and Double-Game titles? Beware: your Spiderman and Bermuda scans are Quelle releases, not Taiwan Cooper Black! Edited March 22, 2006 by Rom Hunter
Spirantho
He already has done the front and back of the double-game titles.

AtariBuff
Spider-Man: yeah, I know - Spirantho didn't believe me that it's a Quelle box. I will check what else I have that smells like Taiwan.

Same goes for the Bermuda cart. AtariBuff, Could you also scan the cart fronts and box backs of Air Wolf and Cobra 104? AtariBuff
do you also need scans from the back of the carts? Edited March 23, 2006 by AtariBuff
Rom Hunter
No. Thank you, AtariBuff! I really appreciate this. BTW: don't you just love the descriptions on the back of these boxes? These descriptions alone are worth collecting Taiwan Cooper Blacks: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MEN...n_sauver=Search Titles left: Beany Bopper Bermuda Demond Attack E.T Go Home Karate Little Bear Pyramid War Ski Hunt Space Tunnel Tonkky Kon Tooth Brush Edited March 23, 2006 by Rom Hunter

Zonie
Umm.. Dumb question here. Why a separate database? Why not just contribute to the AA database? Seems silly to me.
Spirantho
Umm.. Dumb question here. Why a separate database? Why not just contribute to the AA database? Seems silly to me. To put it the other way - why not just contribute to the AtariMania database? Fact is the AA database is very anaemic compared to other databases when it comes to PAL releases. It's simply that the admins don't have the time or interest in PAL releases to document them. All AA updates have to go through the admins here which would take a lot longer than being able to update databases ourselves. The AM database is far more complete these days, though it does seem to have some slightly presumptive entries (it lists titles which are expected to have been released, rather than just titles that we know do exist, c.f. Go Go Home Monster. And before you ask, that's why there's the other PAL database that I administer - on that we only have confirmed entries and we try and assign a rarity value to each cart... though hopefully one day that'll be merged into the AM database. Bruce Tomlin
What about NTSC? I have an NTSC Cooper Black cartridge of Pitfall (no box), and it has "Jungle Book" style artwork.
Rom Hunter
@Rom maybe you already have it No, I don't. Thanks! Could you also scan the cart front and box back? BTW: is it a 2-in-1 or a 4-in-1 cart? Edited April 1, 2006 by Rom Hunter

This only applies for the Home Vision range of games and only for these seven titles: Clown Down Town Go Go Home Monster (this cartridge can be seen on two Home Vision ads) IQ-180 Jacky Jump (this game was reviewed in 1983 and a screenshot was showed) Magic Carpet Magic Puzzle Zoo Fun All the other 5337 titles in the database of Atarimania are known to exist. Rom Hunter
Where exactly did you see them? Ebay. Although the owner states it is, I'm not convinced it's NTSC.
