What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

no, its 8.5 v 4A

you buying a new 400 if I fry it :P

As long as it's AC, and I'm sure that the 1027 is, it should be OK.

And you're right, I probably wouldn't stretch to a new 400

no new 400 needed

it powers the 400 and 1050 fine

I've never seen one of those boxes before mino, can you explain anymore about it? Is the original Atari 800XL box inside or what?

I'll take some more detailed photo's over the next few days when I get chance, but to give you a brief description, there are 3 boxes inside, The regular 1010 box, a brown box listing the contents, which has the psu and the 5 tape games, and what looks to be a 'slimline' 800XL box, a little over 1/2 the height of the regular 800XL box.

It's all cream (no yellowing!) and I am really happy with this find, the listing said nothing about the original outer box.

I guess that it is from somewhere like Argos or Dixons.Ill try and find out.

Universal Hero by Mastertronic for Atari 800

Maybe we should collect up all these and re-record

over them with a 'patched to work' version. ;)

Or at least re-release it, with a sticker saying "Now working!" :)

Fortunately I have the fixed version as well, so I will be attempting to play this right through soon.

Yes, I will be. Once I go through the collections I am getting, I will make sure that Atariagers get first shot at the extras. The one collection that was listed on here that was the posters father's collection, I will not be reselling out of respect to the poster/owner, but will make available the extras to Agers that are true collectors and will get use from the items, not sell them for profit. That way, the legacy the collector had for this collection will continue with other Atari collectors and not Ebay resellers.
