+Allan
Ok, so who's been buying up all of the Atari Learning software at ridiculous prices? Ditto. I really wanted to scan that. It would be nice to have all the manuals scanned for those programs. Best & B. & C. don't seem to have any of those listed on their sites. JohnBuell
Graphing went for over $60, and there was that set someone sold not long ago that went for, what, nearly $200? They need to be preserved, not hoarded.
Rhod
Graphing was purchased by Arnaud, a French. I'm on the second auction
www.atarimania.com
From what I recall, I have Graphing, Instructional Computing Demonstration, the Secret Formula programs, some of the Spelling in Context games and Division Drill. We dumped the programs years ago and we'll definitely scan the manuals when we have time. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
JohnBuell
The "big stack of ten" I was looking at included another copy of Graphing, Spelling in Context 6, 7 and 8, Secret Formula Intermediate and Advanced, Music II, Concentration, Division Drill, and Word Games. Since it sounds like you have five of those, I'm a little more relieved.
BillC
as always, thanks for the help man. I really appreciate it. Ill see what I can do about the Basic part. The Atari BASIC chip is a 2364 or equivalent. It's possible to use a 2764 EPROM as a replacement using an adapter like those in the following links, the 2764 can be programmed with whatever version of Atari BASIC is desired. http://store.go4retr...m/2364-adapter/ http://vic-20.de/x15...dware/2364.html

WestofHouse
My story is about the one that got away. Someone was selling Alternate Reality The City complete with box, manuals, and even character and backup disks. I had it in my watch list but got back to the computer five minutes after it ended. Went for only $45.

+slx
Atari 65XE&130XE non-tested but with a return option. If they work I'll have at least one from every generation (except the non-PAL 1200XL). +wood_jl
Indus GT for Atari ST. Just had to have this, because I remember wanting it so badly in the day. How in the hell do you upgrade the RAM in the old (no drive built-in) 520ST? Well, that was never answered over the last 3 years. I gave up. This solved the problem, and TOS 1.4 in one swoop. Works great! Reputable seller! These aren't really very easy to come by, any more! They used to be so common! The only other option is B&C on Ebay - for $31 shipped (!!!!!!) Always wanted to try this. Perhaps on a 130XE. Would like to play with FORTH some day. I remember the ads for this back in '86. Sealed and cheap! Atari was too cheap to put a MIDI through port on. I'm no musician, but I used to play "Chopsticks" as a kid. The Atari store used to have a Casio CZ-101 or 1001 (or something) pluged into the ST. Maybe one day I'll find one and need this cable to try it? Don't know, but don't see these often. Edited April 12, 2013 by wood_jl
Magic Knight
Was overjoyed when i got this lot for £2.20 and only £3 shipping (bundle weighs a few kilograms!) (about $7 total) I guess the seller wasn't too familiar with marketing and postal rates.
+slx
Necromancer cartridge and a Jaguar Game guide. I was outbid on a Miner 2049er just to find out I had one already at the bottom of a box of Atari stuff but completely forgotten about it....... Hooked up my new XEs and played Atari stuff for the first time in almost a decade. There was a Kaboom cart together with the Miner and I had never played that before. Really fast action and you just can't match those quick paddle flicks with any other kind of input device. Got to show this to my kids this weekend and see how they react. +RetroElectroDad
On it's way to me from eBay (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2F321109903565%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1439.l2649) a 600XL with 1064 memory expansion. Comes with a 1010 tape drive (no PSU), Alley Cat cassette and four carts - Centipede, Miner 2049er, Boulders & Bombs and Blue Max. I don't think the price is too bad at £50. I really need the 600XL - I got my childhood machine out to take a picture for Instagram (retroelectrodad on there) and it's giving me a black screen on powering. I'm planning on using this working 600XL to help identify the problem with a bit of chip swapping. If I can't repair then I can always put the working motherboard in my old unit - I love the keyboard and it's in pristine condition. Also just received a new 800 keyboard through eBay from B&C to deal with the broken spacebar on my 800. This has been an ongoing project as when it arrived it had a faulty ROM board and one faulty 16K RAM board (also replaced via eBay from B&C), hopefully it will now be fully functional. Now if I could only fix the 810.....
atari8warez
Will pick up this tomorrow. With this trackball I think I can finally beat my own high score of 350,000+ on Millipede, I wasn't able to better my score with the joystick, so we'll see how much difference this will do. And while I was bidding on the trackball I couldn't pass-up on this either, what the heck a nice backup for my bat handle Wico.

Was that one of the keyboards advertised with "brittle plastics, no warranty". If so, would like to know about your experience. Hope you didn't pay too much for the ROM/RAM, one set just fitting your needs was on EBay Germany recently: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.de%2Fitm%2FAtari-CX853-16kRam-Memory-Module-CX801-10K-Rom-Operating-System-%2F281090007718%3Fpt%3DDE_PC_Videospiele%26hash%3Ditem41724522a6
