Remo - In all honesty, I am NOT trying to be a jerk or instigate anything here, but I also thought this item is simply a 7800 fitted into the VCS adapter case, and engineered to tap the power coming from the 5200. (And also the A/V lines, if it supports RF use?) I certainly wouldn't have the skills to mimic the original 7800 board onto a new board that was shaped and sized for the different enclosure, but conceptually the whole thing doesn't seem all that complicated to me.
