+JasonlikesINTV
This auction has three loose Burgertimes and all three are from the rarer gatefold boxes. Mildly interesting. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 261917297529 Edit: Ahh, Canadian seller. Edited June 6, 2015 by JasonlikesINTV

soporj
Red Demo is now at $222 http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271890265021&alt=web What would stop someone from bidding a ludicrous amount right before the auction ends and then not pay? Oh, that's right: nothing.

Kinda screws the next highest legitimate bidder, though. Hopefully no one decides to be a dick and do that.
Andre81
Kinda screws the next highest legitimate bidder, though. Hopefully no one decides to be a dick and do that. Even worse are collectors hoarders losers that already have a copy of everything but still bid to drive the price up.
scalpel
Even worse are collectors hoarders losers that already have a copy of everything but still bid to drive the price up. I don't have it and I really won't bid on it.

soporj
This clown vahn421 may face some bad karma after he swindled the previous owner of the red demo cart.
+Lathe26
Why is it considered a "great find" for some people to buy an expensive game for a cheap price but a "swindle" for other people to do the same thing?
GenetixJ
Why is it considered a "great find" for some people to buy an expensive game for a cheap price but a "swindle" for other people to do the same thing? Great find is paying less, swindle is making the other schmuck pay more than what it's worth.
scalpel
Oh, I didn't mean you. Yes, sorry, it was just to say that won't bid on it ^^
wolfy62
I only bid on or buy what I actually don't have yet. That seems like a good rule of thumb to me. Here's the thumb!
Fushek
What is WRONG with people? I'm going to sell the holy grail of my Intellivision collection but where should I take a photo to get the best lighting ... oh, I know ... right on my crotch! Having bare feet in the picture is one of my main pet peeves, however, this might just top it. I'd hate to see where he puts it when he's NOT taking pictures. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intellivision-Spiker-Super-Pro-Volleyball-/281717300152?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4197a8dbb8 Oh, and to add to the insult, there's a reserve on the $750 starting bid. You need to read vahn421's threads. They are the ones that got locked by a moderator because he couldn't follow forum rules.

Yeah, no offense to the seller, but I highly doubt that this will receive any bids higher than the initial $750 (if that). The manual is definitely not worth the same as the loose cart, especially considering the difficulty in validating the authenticity of those paper manuals. They're pretty easy to replicate. I'm not saying it's fake, but I wouldn't pay more than maybe $20 for a loose manual for Spiker, SMB, LF, LF2.

Yeah, I read those as the posts were made. I get that he ticked off a number of folks. My question was more broad than just vahn421. I'm only asking since I usually see someone getting a pat of the back for finding an expensive game really cheap while occasionally people get vilified for the same thing. I haven't figured out the pattern.
