Lucky Man Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 I got mine and I've been playing it for a couple of days. It took me awhile to warm up to the game, but I like it now. Anyone else notice the difficulty switches do work? At least on games 1-6. On games 7-8 they work on the first stage, but the second stage is actually harder on B difficulty. Yes, on games 1-6 the snake, ships and aliens move faster on A difficulty. On 7-8 only the first stage is harder on A, but for some reason, the 2nd stage is easier. I haven't been actively participating in the HSC these days due to time restrictions, but I used to, and one of the last games I remember playing was Pharaoh's Curse http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html?SoftwareLabelID=1596 It had a similar scoring bug but we just used the honor system and things were fine. I am a big fan of 80's action figures and this would have fit in my collection of Inhumanoids and Manglors nicely. Unfortunately I'm currently in the process of selling off a lot of my collections (figures, video games, comics, magazines etc...) and consolidating everything to a smaller area so I don't need HUGE houses to store my crap. Really need to focus on getting that accomplished before I add to my collections any more. I really do hope this is offered again some time in the future though. Arkus was a toy I received for Christmas of that same year he was released. My grandmother got it for me and it was my favorite toy as a child. I have bought lots ofg items here on Atariage this happens to be the first one that i Listed, I also bought Merlins Walls here and hated that as well, They both are up for auction. I'm sorry if it offended you CPUWIZ and anyone else. I have 100's of games in my collection, don't play all of them, but the Repros, Hacks and new games, which will not appreciate in value, I like to enjoy them. Sorry I didn't like it. I have personally bought at least 10 other games here lots of homebrews and yes limited releases and I loved them( I don't really rhink this is a limited release either,as more orders have come in and been made)the other games I bought are still in my collection and will be for a long time. Hopefully I won't be disqualified form buying future releases, but know that if I don't care for them, I may list it on Ebay. Yes I do sell old Penthouse and Playboy magazines and sorry if it offends any of you, but that is how I make $ to pay for my video games that I buy. If it offends anyone sorry CPUWIZ if any of this pissed you off, I am very sorry. The rest of you Kiss my ass. Why not include free porn with the purchase of Atari games.
