(is he always the final opponent?) Had another crack at Fight Night (shudder) did much better thanks to DieMON's tip about stepping back to avoid the special moves... Hey! where's our special move??? all we can do is change hands Was doing well knocking out the early opponents in a single round, the British Bulldog took me to 3 rounds before eating the dust but trbb met his end in the Bronx Bomber... spot my pummelled carcass (Won 4 Lost 1) Edited September 27, 2012 by therealbountybob

+skr
btw: Will I automatically play for "Team Deutschland" as I am living here, or what? I translated your post in the ABBUC forums, maybe we will get some more support.
jblenkle
I thought sure I was going to have a big win in Star League Baseball last night. I scored 9 runs in the second inning and held that lead until the fifth inning...then I wound up losing 16-9. So I've still only got the one 8-6 win in all my attempts...and a cramped hand and blister on my finger...

When prompted to switch disks click on File, Disk Drives and browse using the '...' button to the Disk 2 ATR - (or back to Disk 1 if needed) then click OK THEN press a key as prompted by Atari

Flu = 2 weeks off, so you'd better check the valid list of HSC excuses thread - try wart-worm infestation perhaps Good If you put some scores in for USA then GB can recall Champions_2002 to his homeland

jblenkle
Star League Baseball (Team USA) Won 12-7 Game went 13 innings. I scored 5 runs in the top of the 13th to break a 7-7 tie and then held off the computer in the bottom of the 13th with a strikeout and inning-ending double play. roadrunner
Even with a better controller i would still stink at that horse game, the course's are a bit long and alot to jump over/avoid. Fight Night i beat the first 3 boxers, gave up on the 4th one. this is better than the 7800 version, it has music and i can name my boxer. I know exactly what you mean there Great result and I suspect this will put Team USA in Gold Medal slot I've played BMX Sim (just about every day) another improvement, just got to beat the final screen! The boost start makes a big difference but adds to the pressure as you've got the computer racer on your tail for the entire race Equestrian H1 C1 ONE fault!!! Drat!!! @rr That British Bulldog did a good job for team GB
jblenkle
I had another big lead in a game today, but the computer rallied in the final three innings to beat me 17-13. Other than baseball and track & field, I kind of sat this round out...too many games...and though I like sports, I just don't like playing them on the computer for some reason...except for baseball... roadrunner
I played Star League BB and lost 25 - 1 The game ended after the 7th inning. The darn computer hit 4 home runs, three 3 run shots and a grand salami.

jblenkle
Are you sure your game ended? There is a "7th Inning Stretch" at the 7th inning...if you press start again, your game continues into the 8th and 9th. I played Star League BB and lost 25 - 1 The game ended after the 7th inning. jblenkle
I'm not sure about pressing the fire button. I just played the game to see what happens and at the end of the 7th I pressed the fire button and it didn't do anything. Perhaps it only ends the game early if one team is leading. My score was tied at 8-8. Pressing START after the 7th inning is over, however, does continue the game into the 8th and 9th.
