GroovyBee
I have plenty of ideas for games on a variety of platforms. There just aren't enough free hours to code them all.

Clearly the INTV folks are the ones who love you the most, I'm pretty sure all the other platforms are badmouthing you right now as we speak! :lolblue: Ignore them, stay with us!

I vote that we initiate a Kickstarter fund to have Groovybee cloned!
Rev
Groovy, you dont have to tell us how many copies of Rocketeer were placed, But did the amount ordered surprise you? Disapoint you? More than copies then you have sold for the 7800? Im just curious if the little ole' Inty sold more homebrews than the 7800 or other platforms! slab0meat
No more copies will be sold beyond the pre-order (I read this on a different site)? Isn't a pre-order just securing your spot before it's actually out? What am I missing?
Rev
Private Message 'Groovybee'. Im pretty sure you should already paid. I've paid for my copies, as I think everyone else has.

+DZ-Jay
I was just curious. I think GroovyBee does not plan to put the game for sale when it is completed. He wants people to pre-pay so that when it is finished, he can make only that number of copies, and be done with it. So "pre-order" in this sense means "before the game is done," not "before it is available for sale." Send Groovy a PM and I'm sure he'll give better details of his plans. dZ. Thanks, that's a good explanation. I was under the "standard" impression, like ordering an Xbox 360 game or a CD from Amazon..
Rev
Remember...if you see something for sale in an AA thread...like homebrews...and it says preorder...you better got on the list and pay....or you will be out!
slab0meat
Yep, understood. Not a big deal, just misinterpreting "pre-order"... the "pre" should probably just be dropped.
Rev
no, It should say 'pre pay'!!!!! LOL
GroovyBee
These high scores obtained by people playing Rocketeer on Saturday (April 6th) at AC2013 :- There aren't any for Sunday because I had to use the Inty for testing my speed coding contest entry.

GroovyBee
I look forward to probably not beating those scores. I had the game set up to run at the hard difficulty level so you should be able to get decent scores on the game's easy or medium difficulty settings. GroovyBee
I look forward to beating those scores to win my Rocketeer patch, overlays, and box Nonner and I still haven't come up with a final list of prizes yet.
+cmart604
Seems like a box, manual and overlays as a prize for all competitors would be a good idea. ? Also, these "competitors" would gladly pay for their prize, in fact, some "competitors" would pay for 3 or 4 "prize packages" which could be wrapped around their games.
