Yeah, and the various ROM-loading cartridges for AES and MVS are super expensive, and the Darksoft AES cart kind of sucks since like half of its features don't even work on AES by design despite being there as options in the menu, unless they changed it since I last tried it. I still have that AES Darksoft cart, BTW. Still haven't figured out what to do with it. Tanooki Posted January 28, 2023 Share Posted January 28, 2023 The multicarts tend to do just that have lots of KOF crap, but the 161in1 does have 95-100~ legit titles on it, and if you use unibios4 is filters out the hacks and crap so you just get a legit list of actual games, so that solves that. With this one having a proper fix seemingly to the problems of the older version this is a very sound way to get most of the MVS library and not having to eat it on a $500 kit if you can get it when it comes in stock, or get scalped by a loser for more. Also being on chips, it just loads, no waiting around for a minute to a few minutes to pull a game off the SD card into the carts memory storage too which is a big perk. I'm going to probably wait out the 200 and see if it has the few games the annoying (and annoyingly canceled) 138in1 had the 161 lacked... Soon after, you look at these games and the popular franchises from the Neo-Geo era and say to yourself it's really the same thing in regards to gameplay, but with a new story and tweaking of the graphics. Much as I love Neo-Geo, I do have to say it has it's drawbacks. I mean playing as Terry Bogard in different games doing the same Power Wave and Burning Knuckle attacks does get dull and tiresome after awhile from KOF 94-03. 😁 Anthony...
