anyway working to recover everything I had before I was forced to sell, down to 13 games but man they've gotten pricey, I think baseball stars professional is  the worst  as it used to be dirt cheap

Yeah, it really is Mass. Many of the Neo-Geo AES games that were common and uncommon even in Japanese are starting to go up. Same here, I purchase Baseball Stars Professional for pennies on the dollar 20 years ago. Now look how much they want now for it.

A couple weeks ago I ordered the MVS 161in1 v3 recent upgrade cart.

 

So far I'm largely impressed by it.  I've jumped to games that had problems so far just a little, but I've not had the yo-yo and static audio issue that Bust A Move 2 was notorious for.  I left the cart running over an hour just flipping (unibios4) between games in huge multi-cart system mode and it never spazzed out.  The only issue I had was to start it kept crashing, but I slightly 1/4" unseated it if that, solved the issue.  It was kicking up a unibios flag for a dirty unseated cart so I tried that and it was fine since.

 

I'm not sre what all is fixed, but the super aggravating audio issue is for sure.  And yes pick n mix if I wasn't clear works on this one too.

That's great to know Tanooki. Thank you for the update and sharing your thoughts on the 161-in-1 V3 cart. Interestingly, I was on Ebay a few weeks ago and I notice that a AES version of the cart is also being offered to the public to buy. I was thinking on doing so seeing the price for a loose copy isn't so bad. After reading your review for the MVS version, I was considering purchasing the AES option to try it out to see how that one works.

Same here Madwin. The more I go back to see it, the more I want to have it. And the seller has been doing quite nicely with sales with them. But I would really like to wait until the release of Final Vendetta first. Then I'll see about the possibility of purchasing the cart.

I need more time on the game to be certain but when the person or at least rep person who is responsible for these things ended up having a conversation posted on facebook a couple months back saying they had made the cart stable and fixed it up, so far that appears to be correct.

 

I'll need to look up the list of sketchy issues it had for the specifics in details.  My beef was the audio problem, seems clear so far but needs more checking with stuff I know was bad that I do own a real game for.  I know Aero Fighters 3 had a problem, not checked it yet but can (own it.)

 

This was the same conversation I mentioned where the person posted that conversation that included an upcoming 200in1 cart as well.  If it's on this level of quality, I'll be making another mvs multi purchase this year.
