Early motherboards such as this one contained daughterboards used to enhance the clarity of the video output! Glad that you want to keep it original and don't want to modify it. Nice choice. Save it for the higher serial number versions since they're more widely available. As for an adapter, finding an American SNK adapter for is going to be hard. But your right, a generic version is fine as well. I don't have any preference to mention. But as long as the volt numbers are correct. It should be fine. Here's the chart that I found for you Chaos PRO-POW (Wall): Input 100v : Output 5v@3A (my Japanese AES unit uses this version Chaos) PRO-POW-UL (Wall): Input 120v : Output 5v@3A PRO-POW-PAL (Tabletop): Input 220-240v : Output 5v@3A I know someone you can trust that knows me from his YouTube channel that sells adapter on Ebay. If you want to modify a Neo-Geo, its best to get a Japanese version with a high serial number.
