sparkdrummer
I'll tell you, if you've got some old TI cassettes that you haven't a clue what's on them TapetoDisk makes it a whole lot easier to find out. I've used it a lot thru the years.

+Vorticon
YN_02_08.pdf DOM_02_08.pdf YN_02_08.dsk Hi. I just got around to downloading that issue and it looks like the left edge of the pages is cut off. Would you mind re-posting that PDF? EDIT: Looks like the same is in 02-09 as well... sparkdrummer
Hello Vorticon, I just downloaded YN_02_09 and opened it in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat and I'm not seeing that it is cut off on the left side. I tried opening it from the Atariage site and it does indeed seem to cut a character off on the left side. I think something about the site doesn't like the file? I'd be happy to upload again, but I don't think there's anything wrong with the file.

Perhaps ZIPping up the files (even one) would be worth a try. ...lee
Omega-TI
In Windows, if you are just viewing the files on the screen in Adobe or many other programs... just hold down the CONTROL key while moving the wheel on the mouse to resize the image, the area that is cut off will re-appear.

+Schmitzi
hmmm, I cannot confirm this problem... ( I use Acrobat Reader X (10.1.16) on Win7-64 )
sparkdrummer
Beats the hell out of me as well, but one never knows, does one.
+Schmitzi
I am "sure" it depends on the Reader´s version & settings. I have strongly restricted settings, all sh*t set to OFF But maybe we know more if the Buddies here open the new ones from the ZIP... Maybe they have Windows10 ? +save2600
Worked just fine downloaded to my iPad and viewed in Notes.
+Lee Stewart
I use Win7. I looked at one of the previous YNs a while ago and nothing was cut off---very close to the edge but all there. It is a later version of Acrobat than when it was cut off. I will not be able to verify the ZIP file contents until later this evening. ...lee
sparkdrummer
Just so you all know, I build the pdf using dead, dead, dead Windows 98se and Acrobat 5.0. I don't know if that makes any difference or not. I will say that YN opens and displays fine on my laptop running Windows 7.
+InsaneMultitasker
Both files look good here. (I use FoxIt reader, an alternative to Adobe Reader)

+Lee Stewart
Yup. It's all good. Just an extremely narrow margin—this with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, v2017.012.20098. ...lee
+Vorticon
Tried a different reader the files look good. Weird... In any case, as usual, great issues! I'm putting together a special biinder with pockets for 5.25" disks that will go next to each corresponding issue. It will make for a great collection! sparkdrummer
So..... I'm assuming there is no need to zip Yesterdays News before upload? Vorticon - Cool on the binder - May I request an image to see what it looks like? I think Omega is doing the same thing - at least with the newsletter. I might have to come up with a fancy cut out disk sleeve for you, huh? Thank you on the kind words as well. Greg - Again, thank you very much for uploading my schtick to WHtech! Unhuman - Thank You for reading! Lee Stewart - Yes - The left and right outside margins are only 1 character in width - The gutter in the middle is 2 characters - This was my format back in the old days, so I just stuck with it.
sparkdrummer
I noticed a couple files that are glitched on the YN_02_09 disk. The title screen has E's that are goofed up. The screen where the Space Shuttle is launched - The exhaust trail "farts" at the top of the screen. Here's a hopefully corrected copy.
