+swlovinist Posted March 8 Share Posted March 8 I am happy to announce that the first run of cart only copies of Block'em Sock'em are completed. These are going to be offered at the upcoming Sidequest Expo, Game On Expo, and possibly WA State Gaming Con if there are any left. With the latest update, this cart plays in the 2600+ and utilizes the Yamaha sound option. Afterward I plan on offering CIB copies when the manual and Box are completed for $50, but this cart only version will be $35. These are made with 3D printed carts and look great. Just a heads up that I will have a booth at these upcoming shows and anyone attending in person. I am not shipping these at this time. @swlovinist, I grabbed a white copy at MGC this year and the game is FANTASTIC!! I would love to take advantage of the Yamaha sound, but I have no plans to get a 2600+. Will a digital version be on sale at any point? This is great to hear. Unfortunately, job and geography will (again) prevent me from making it to PRGE. What are the post-show plans? I see the Atari Age logo. I know there aren't many carts that take advantage of these options, but it makes a big difference for those that do. It wouldn't hurt to advertise this feature as hopefully, more games (like your's) will take advantage of them in the future. Maybe I've missed it and if so, I apologize, but other then the "Experimental 2600+ Firmware and Dumper" thread, I haven't seen mention of these sound options. This same way we could stop putting Hokey on Crystal carts and save some money (maybe even not putting RAM on cart) I understood that Atari+ support XM module, so can I just release cart with ROM for only Atari+ and XM users?
