I would also like to say how gratifying it is to say... YES you are all on the NICE LIST!!!   (we don't need rescue reindeer -no one flaked!)

Also someone mentioned the Three Kings... It prompted me to dig out something I made in photoshop for this thread... wow... over three years ago! Time flies.  I'll post it again, because... why not?

Well my package got here two days early!  And seeing how Christmas is now less than a week away (and that I have NO self-control), I decided to go ahead and open it.

There was a tin of fudge and several wrapped gifts.  The packaging was superb!  All of the gifts were individually bubble wrapped or in a bubble mailer.

image.thumb.jpeg.6b6c3afbd71ba75400ce5bcf54363c12.jpeg

Here is the overview of the haul.  I don't deserve all of this goodness.

image.thumb.jpeg.880ac36113b70e20c6d0a76f5ba60fbb.jpeg

I asked Santa for a TI-82 calculator and he delivered.  I had a TI-81 in high school and used it in college as well as at work up until a year or so ago when it finally died.  I told Santa that it was time to upgrade to the TI-82.  Notice the price tag.  I can still remember my dad crapping his pants back in 1990 when I told him how much the TI-81 would cost.

image.thumb.jpeg.976c37b5c783993621ac04eafba19fed.jpeg   image.thumb.jpeg.413ce91f208a659eb15bf3396a23eb32.jpeg

Two NES games in the loot.  I don't currently own an NES but my brother has unearthed ours from our childhood.  We have been playing it some, and now we have more games in our joint collection.  This is one of those gifts that is greater than its financial value because it gives me even more reason to hang out with my brother.  Also, my Secret Santa is paying attention.  Last year I mentioned how much I love golf video games, and that still holds true.

image.thumb.jpeg.9c48c304d37564624a5ef048b332b4be.jpeg     image.thumb.jpeg.243e0aa7df75f5868ba2746c79fed641.jpeg

I don't have a 7800 either, but I am hoping to get the Atari 2600+ for Christmas from that other Santa.  Since I don't own any 7800 games, I just asked Santa to send one of their favorites.  And boy did he nail it.  I can remember playing/watching Xevious at the local pool near me where I grew up.  Before I was old enough to have my own money, I would crowd around the cabinet with other kids and watch the older ones play.  This one is going to be fun.

image.thumb.jpeg.a0a88f8e5aa1a0538e23015f7bca664f.jpeg

I had mentioned in my letter to Santa that I like to wear T-shirts.  It is boring I know, but basically If I am not at work (casual Fridays excluded), I am wearing a T-shirt.  And Santa got me what I asked for, but in a totally unexpected way.  It is a T-shirt with the box art from my first Atari 2600 game Doggone It!.  I gotta say it, that is doggone awesome.

image.thumb.jpeg.e4cbaecf08b6c4d492b848fe0d957ea6.jpeg     image.thumb.jpeg.0666285ef760243f8c97439e5b861900.jpeg

To my Secret Santa, thank you so much!  This is perfect.

There is only one problem.  My Secret Santa did not reveal themselves.  Please, I ask that you do reveal your AtariAge identity and take credit for this very thoughtful gift package.

And for all of you Secret Santas out there, both givers and receivers, have a very Merry Christmas!

That Atari Touch Me is Awesome! I collect vintage calculators, hand-held games, and vintage displays. That's a cross-over item.

I love the Touch Me CJ.  I always thought it would be neat to have one but I just never got around to buying one.  I also really like the macrame, looks like it was made by a very caring individual!

What a cool gift! The care that went into this inspires me. For next year I'm going to make some cool stuff for my recipient. I did not think about it until there wasn't enough time left.

Yeah, I always have the same problem.  I never think about making a gift until the last minute and then it's too late.

Nice saltwater tank. Your tang looks like he's got loads of room.

((s)he?) is just a baby. It'll be moved to the big tank in a year or so. :)

This tank's a bit of a mess: broken lighting, chrysophytes, etc. I was running it without a heater (the tank overheats), but it led to a dino (?maybe?) bloom. I cranked it up to 28c, and it's calmed down.
