Digitalicious
I always read about these people who pay soooo much money for Atari cartridges and I am afraid to play these. Does anyone know ?

Digitalicious
The picture didn't work. What do I have to do ?
Brad2600
Was the picture the right format (jpg or gif) ? You have to browse for it and then attach it to the message. You can always list the names of the games as well.
Digitalicious
It is a .jpg picture from my webcam. It's crappy. I forgot to click the Add button. Have to go now, I will come back on the weekend. Bye and thanks for the help again.
Cootster
Er . . . Is that one under Enduro what I think it is? If so, you can play the rest and somebody will shell out the green stuff for that Eli's Ladder there . . . It's an crappy Christian educational game that is, of course, insanely rare because it's not any fun and nobody bought it . . . The rest aren't worth the hassle of eBay fees, but they're good games. inextremis staple
Looks like it to me. I'll take it if you want to get rid of it. is
sku_u
Eli's Ladder is a rarity 10, hard to find, boring to play and worth selling. The rest are pretty common and fun to play.

Bye and thanks for the help again. The big rare one in that lot is Eli's Ladder, MASH and Kool-Aid Man are semi-rare, the rest are all very easy to find. Mindfield
I'm with Geaster. Seems a little specious to me. The "haphazard" placement seems to just conceal Eli's Ladder enough to pique interest, and the pic looks like a normal 640x480 run through a colour gaussian noise filter and a couple of rainbow gradients. The noise is a little too uniform, and the rainbows too even and too evenly coloured. I could be wrong, but it just seems a little too newbie-has-an-insanely-rare-cart-and-just-happens-to-ask-if-he-has-anything-rare to me. bjk7382
anyone with a mogul maniac cart and a inkjet printer could make that. I haven't ever seen an eli's in person but it looks like an amiga case.

+Nathan Strum
The photo looks a bit too carefully staged. I'd think most people wanting to find out about their games would lay them out so they were all clearly showing. Not "randomly" stacked. Also, that's one of the worst jpegs I've ever seen. You'd have to work at it, to make something compress that poorly. Of course, it could just be my paranoid nature.
Galaga_Freak
It's not that rare, you should trade me for this one

Actually, if you have the option to save in high compression mode then that can create a lot of artifacting. JPEG artifacting is predictable though; it usually smudges reds and blues, and in extreme cases creates visible squares in the image. That image looks staged, though, and a few simple Photoshop tricks can give it that lovely Webcam look.
CPUWIZ
I only just got back. I didn't see anything about this person wanting to sell anything anywhere though. Either way, I sent a PM to not sell it for peanuts if they decide they want to. I wonder what other carts he/she has?
Brad2600
Uhh Mindfield, The second picture is a red x. I don't know what to make of the picture. I'm not familiar with Eli's Ladder either.

Jedd
This is obviously a joke. I really doubt that anyone would throw their carts on the floor and take a picture of them without clearly showing the labels or listing the games, then post a new thread asking if it is ok to play any of them, and consequently he has one of the top most rare games ever made for the 2600. Either he has the game and did this for amusement, found the picture online and re-uploaded it, or is really good with photoshop. -J

Cootster
I suspect it's real . . . Although not an original pic, possibly. Can you IP-trace this . . . I know someone in this local area who has two of them and a sick sense of humor.
