Rom Hunter
Many thanks! I'm currently updating all Atari Red Label and Gray Label variations, so it may take a while before I have all the Polyvox manual scans added. Keep them coming, though. Thanks again. midnight8
This topic has gotten me intersted in Pal games in general. This topic is full of good info and I have been picking a cart or 2 here and there. Thanks for all the info.

Sr. Ferraz
Dear Pangasinan, I don't understand your question, explain better for me. Dear Pontual-Harry, Thanks for the pictures, it's rarely a Brazilian put pictures here ('mainly' scans). Dear midnight8, Really many and many cartridges were manufactured in the world with the system PAL - () and PAL-M. It's very good to see so many 'variations' in carts and labels. In Brazil the system of color is called 'PAL-M' (only country in the world that I know), It's similar to the NTSC system (the frequency is 60 Hz or 60 cycles / second). The carts were usually manufactured here in NTSC system, in consoles manufactured here existed a internal 'transcoder' (NTSC>>PAL-M). Dear Rom, Send me in PM what images you need of carts with red, gray or silver label (cart, box or instructions). Perhaps I have something to help you and the database of AM. I don't have only carts manufactured in Brazil ... >> Excellent weekend for all <<
LS_Dracon
Mr. Ferraz, I'm study about PAL-M system. I think in China and Thailand uses this system too. Its not PAL running at 60 Mhz (NTSC Speed) and yes Ntsc speed and resolution with PAL colors. This means all Ntsc carts work perfect in Brazil, the TIA change all 128 colors information to PAL format. I don't know the reason, maybe becouse Atari not release Pal-M system at same time of Ntsc and PAL, and Pal-M system start to be sold in 80/81, too late, but the creators had better knowledgement of PAL TV colors information. This means is possible create a PAL game using 128 colors, but only run in PAL tv and in 2600 Pal-M system. Don't have "Pal-M carts". All carts in Brazil are pure NTSC, obviously, we call Pal-M carts becouse it's had potuguese labels and manuals, internally is NTSC. Pal-M naturally not run PAL carts, only if your TV support switch to PAL image. O Atari 2600 suporta 128 cores na tela, mas no sistema PAL europeu só são mostradas 64. Rom Hunter
Nice pictures, Pangasinan. I'm very curious about the titles that are on the carts on pictures #1, #3, #4 and #6. Also, I sure could use better scans of Tron's Smurf and Moon Patrol and the Video Grow carts. Edited December 3, 2007 by Rom Hunter

Rom Hunter
Sr. Ferraz, Do you own any other carts of this manufacturer:
A.J. Franzman
The Gran Match is Frostbitte and the Tiger Vision has only 2 white labels on the back one saying Nexar and the other is hard to read,so i have scanned it for you,the game looks like Halloween though. It is Halloween. The title on the label is "Sexta Feira 13". "Sexta Feira" is Portuguese for Friday (literally, "Sixth Day"), so the bogus title on this cartridge translates as "Friday the 13th". (!) Sr. Ferraz
Dear pangasinan, Thank you for your 'contribution' with images and scans ! Dear Rom, Sorry, I don't have cartridge with this name. Dear LS_Dracon, Some sites have the information that the system PAL-M is used in "Laos" (50Hz) and a small part of "Thailand" (50 Hz). Most of Brazil uses a voltage of approximately 127 volts x 60 Hz but there are other voltage (220V). I don't know if have cities with the frequency is 50 Hz (I think not). See below some links about this subject: http://stjarnhimlen.se/tv/tv.html http://www.vcolor.com.br/nova/sistemas1.htm http://www.vcolor.com.br/nova/sistemas.htm http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAL-M Edited December 6, 2007 by Sr. Ferraz
Sr. Ferraz
I already put information here about the items manufactured in Brazil similar to the 'Supercharger by Starpath' ('Canal 3' and 'Splice Comp-K7' on page 1, 'Copy Game' on page 10, 'VGS' on page 12). How to use (AA): " The Supercharger was inserted into the cartridge slot of the 2600, and a cable connected into the earphone jack of a standard cassette player" (or CD player, discman, computer...). I added on YouTube small and simple demonstrations of 'how a game is loaded', loading games with the 'Supercharger by Canal 3' & 'Comp-K7 by Splice'. The audio files are not compatible in 2, the 'time of loading' is also different. The loading of the game remembers the old computers as MSX and others. The images are not 'very good', is a simple demonstration for those 'who don't know'. The 'loading' is different and also the first image on the TV screen. In the first screen of the supercharger 'Comp-K7 by Splice' can hear (listen) the music "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (movie).
