Rom Hunter
Excellent. Thanks for also showing the model numbers! BTW: how exactly are the titles on the end labels spelled (excluding the sealed one)? Edited January 11, 2008 by Rom Hunter

Sr. Ferraz
Thanks Rom. Dear Schitti, I saw this manufacturer cartridges are sold with and without box (some sealed), I never saw cart with manual (instructions). See page 10 of this topic with carts and boxes of this manufacturer.
midnight8
I was wondering. were there any atari 5200 or 7800 games made in brazil?
TomBrazil
I was wondering. were there any atari 5200 or 7800 games made in brazil? Nope. Those consoles were never released in Brazil. And they were not known at the time, with the possible exception of a few hard core gamers (but I never heard about it). Can you imagine the trouble to import those babies at the time? I'm not familiar w/ any of the import restrictions that were or are in place. I'm guessing from what you say it must have been difficult. ovalbugmann
WOW! Just discovered this thread! Thank You! Sr. Ferraz for showing us your very cool Atari cartridge collection. I wish Brazilian Atari games were more available here in the U.S. All of the carts presented by you seem so cool , and unique compared to all the official game carts available here. This is a very interesting thread, to say the least.
Sr. Ferraz
Dear friend ovalbugmann, I am happy to share with all. Hugo Bernardes
I was wondering. were there any atari 5200 or 7800 games made in brazil? Nope. Those consoles were never released in Brazil. And they were not known at the time, with the possible exception of a few hard core gamers (but I never heard about it). Can you imagine the trouble to import those babies at the time? As always, my friend Tom is right! But Gradiente, the official licensee of 2600 in Brazil (under the brand Polyvox) projected a 7800 clone. The console design was just the same as original 7800, but there was a little changing on the final product: it became a NES clone! So, we got the Phantom System, a NES clone (72 pin carts!) that looked almost exactly as an Atari 7800!
LS_Dracon
Alguém sabe se a Polivox produziu jogos da Imagic como Atlantis e Demon Atack? So, we got the Phantom System, a NES clone (72 pin carts!) that looked almost exactly as an Atari 7800! That is pretty sweet looking. I wouldn't mind having one for myself. I imagine someone good with body filler or something could remake that cart slot to match the 7800. It would be neat to have the 7800 board in it to play. I have been getting a few of the games from brazil here and there. I had purchase 3 off ebay but been nearly 7 weeks since auction ended and seller is not answering emails or even responding to paypal claim so I have given up on them showing up. Thank goodness they were pretty cheap. Edited June 6, 2008 by midnight8

That's a Polyvox cart, allright. Here's a better scan: http://atarimania.com/zoom_frame.php?TYPE_...amp;NUM_IMAGE=1 As you can see, the end label says Polivox. Dodge 'Em must exist. According to the catalog it was released. Edited June 6, 2008 by Rom Hunter
LS_Dracon
Tnx for answer. Anyway I bought this cart yesterday, the label is damaged, but KK is a must have classic for 2600 Dodge 'Em must exist. Don't worry, if I find something, I'll post here Edited June 14, 2008 by LS_Dracon
LS_Dracon
With cart on hands, I took these photos. I never saw this case model before, maybe Activision ask to Polyvox a different cart, becouse Polyvox produce all carts including Activision in Atari silver label. Or is a cost reduction, the cart is more simple without board protection... KK isn't my favorite game, I hate the airplane and for me the elevator is useless, but I think until now, this game do the best graphic use in A2600. Edit : I need clean the label, please, anyone know a good trick to do this? Just cotton and water? Edited June 14, 2008 by LS_Dracon
