My H.E.R.O. died

Hi there!Shock & horror, I just had to discover that my H.E.R.O. cartridge is no longer working properly :sad:Most of the time it'll just do some rolling garbage, but the weird thing is, it will eventually stabilize and play. But when it plays, it'll have various glitches appearing, like flicker in certain areas, or wrong colors in others. Colony 7 Shields working!

Hi there!   Ok, first things first: I think I'll stick with "Colony 7" instead of "Colony 2600" to avoid any confusion with the A800 game "Colony"   Phew... doing those shield lines was waaay more difficult than it looks like.   They are 6 lines tall, and there's 2 layers à 3 lines. Since it is completely assymmetrical, it requires 6 PF loads and stores every line, with somewhat precise timings in the middle. The color is also updated every line. Colony 7 2600...
