Seob
Today i found Golden Axe II Gods Cliffhanger Crackdown Quackshot Sega mega drive arcade stick All for 7 euro. All games came in box but without manuals. They had some more games, but most of the where mixed in the wrong box, and the 2 other games i wanted weren't even there at all, just the box. SpendTooMuchOnAtari
My Wednesday Finds! Not much happening but I picked these both up at a pawn/thrift store for $17. The Wii Play is an extra as I already have and enjoy mine....the DS game is for my collection. Also, I received some items in the mail from a recent trade here at AA and am very happy to add these to my DS collection: Thanks "you know who"! I don't think I ever bought a GBA cart for under a dollar anywhere in my life. I have scored some 50 cent original gameboy cart or perhaps a GBC cart but that's awesome....and a really fun game IMO. then went to a pawn/media shop and got:shin megami tensei dd saga 2(complete)$8.99 May I ask what your plan for this is? SpendTooMuchOnAtari
My Thursday find is the Definitive TWIN PEAKS Collection for $38.99 replacing my current set of the two seasons (in seperate collections) and then the seperate pilot as well. So, I think I'm off to ebay with all my current Twin Peaks stuff. Man, that show is weird! My wife got me into it and I actually haven't seen the second season, just the pilot and the first season. It wasn't a great deal but about half of retail and it's in nice shape.
shadow460
Found Sega Rally Championship Plus for the Saturn today. It cost me $7. I spotted the small case easy, and grabbed it instantly when I realized it was the NetLink edition of 1995 Sega Rally.
+FujiSkunk
hey skunkworkx what games did u get out of that deal i'd love to know post pics if possible bro I've actually snagged two good collections from that thrift store recently. I wrote about the first haul here. Honestly the game selection wasn't all that memorable from the second haul. I think the biggest names were Ms. Pac-Man for the SNES and Ice Hockey for the NES. Popular titles, but they aren't exactly rare. However, I would say between the two scores I amassed a pretty good collection of stuff. Here are a couple of pictures of the greatest bits from both collections. The shells on both SNES's are all grey, without any yellowing. The second console needs some cleaning, but the first looked beautiful even in the store. The games that came with the first one were also beautiful, as you can see (I should have included Final Fantasy II in the picture). The second NES sadly was a typical thrift store find, and needs a new cartridge port. The first, however, was an amazing find, perfectly clean and capable of playing just about everything I've thrown at it. In fact, the only cartridges that haven't worked so far also won't work in my top-loader. The second collection also yielded a few noteworthy instruction manuals, shown here. Not pictured are all the controllers and hook-ups and all the other games I snagged. It's plenty to brag about, but at $135 plus tax, I think I gave the thrift store a fair deal. They support a good cause, so I can't low-ball them too much.

vrocko
Hey all! Well not as much as some of you guys, holy cow I need to hit the thifts and garage sales more often, but got Soul Blade and Wild 9 brand new for the PS1 for $5 at the local Dollar General. Both were originally $10 each but they had a mark down of 70%! Also got 6 hours to Sunup, a racing game I've been eyeing, for the PC for $1. Well, I'm lazy for one. An internet addict for two. I'm pretty much poor for three. Still though, whenever I do get out to drive somewhere, I always think to myself I want to find some cool games for cheap. But also, I've sold off most of my collection in the past year so If I did go thrifting and find something, I'd probably just end up selling it... It would be so cool though to find something like a Neo Geo at a Goodwill.
rockman_x_2002
Back again! Went to a thrift shop tonight and scored a $10 Dreamcast. Came with all the necessary hookups except for a controller, and when I got home I discovered a copy of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 in the drive still as a bonus. Never a fan for skateboarding games but hey... bonus game, plus it let me know the system does work. So now, I just need to find a controller on the cheap. I also picked up a boxed complete PC CD-ROM collection for $1.50, Interplay's 10 Year Anthology, includes a gaggle of games from 1983 to 1993 for good ol' DOS. Including Mindshadow, Tass Times, The Bard's Tale, Wasteland, Dragon Wars, Battle Chess, LOTR: Vol. 1, Castles, Star Trek: 25th Anniv., and Out of this World. Game includes original box, manual, and other accompanying packaging, and a like-new CD-ROM. Figured for $1.50, that's a nice little collection of DOS gaming goodness.
