Only had a cell phone camera so I couldn't take a good pic. So my score won't count as I don't have proof. Got 235,860. And 117,770 on Galaga. Pooey! Qix - 26508 Watched a highscore replay for Qix, and the player does the first two screens really weird but ends up with 99% coverage (somehow?) on both, so big bonuses. I just haven't ever been able to catch onto this one. Cheers! I found MAME when I was 14 (8 years ago) and Galaga was the first game I played. Liked it, stuck with it, and got reasonably good at it. Gave up for a while and have recently had the urge to go back. My best was 1.45million, but cant be sure of what settings I used back then. A lot of games didn't work on this version, but enough for experiencing it for the first time. The second one was 0.72. Better than the previous, but was still missing a lot of good titles. Currently I am on the MAME 0.122 front end. With 6999 games(including duplicates), there isn't much I can't play. Thx to my bro (Cynicaster) for all three MAME versions. I got into MAME about 6 years ago and haven't stopped since. I wish I found it sooner!! I was almost 30 when I played it for the first time. The keyboard doesnt do anything for this game. Gorf - 15000 Have not completed the Astro Battles once, I proceed to the next mission by losing a life, everytime. New Rally X - 169570 The maps really start getting hard with no exits etc and also the added element of cars at the other end (level 12 onwards) Are the maps the same everytime? I know they are very similar, but have not looked closely to see if they are able to be remembered. Edit: Gorf - Oh my god, I only just realised you can move up and down!
