Albert
did the NTSC boxed copies shiP? No, but I am actively working on them. Just finished removing labels from and cleaning 100 2600 carts, and now they are drying: Going to assemble 100 boxes shortly, will post another photo once I've finished that. Boards are already soldered. Do have to print more manuals, though, which I'll also be working on this evening. ..Al
kaz321123
One of those carts is mine, how cool! They look like dominos-careful not to bump one-they will all topple Thanks for all the hard work on this-very fun to purchase. -Kaz

Albert
How do you keep the cardboard floating in the air like that? Is it magic or alien technology? If you have to ask, it's beyond your level of technology and I'm not permitted to share. ..Al

Andromeda Stardust
No, but I am actively working on them. Just finished removing labels from and cleaning 100 2600 carts, and now they are drying: Makes me wonder what my PR cart used to be in it's former life... ET, Pacman, Combat??? So many memories forgotten to time
Albert
Boxes folded and glued.. Now I need to solder some PAL copies of the game. ..Al
+craftsmanMIKE
I often thought about that myself, I've purchased 4 or 5 hacks, homebrews, and the unreal Harmony cart. Always wondered what they started life as. Glad to see them live on, rather than hit the landfill. What goes around, comes around, again and again. mkiker2089
Perhaps they need to be marked on the inside flap what they used to be? I know, it would be a crazy amount of extra work, but still. A little E for E.T. a P for Pacman etc.. in silver sharpie on the bottom flap would be cool.

That is an interesting idea, although it's too late to do this with Princess Rescue since the carts have already been stripped. I'd probably want to make it a bit more professional, though. Hmmm, this gives me an idea. ..Al
CPUWIZ
Seems like a gigantic waste of time, to keep track of what you are stripping, before cleaning them.
kaz321123
I would also like it if you could include a little 'cartridge obituary insert' which traces the history of the cartridge, and any encounters it might have had with various dogs or even cats. Did the cartridge have a good life? Preceded in death by...Atari heavy sixer and jolt cola. jk, jk...I'm just having some fun-or am I? AtariBrian
One 7800 homebrew I got a while back had the dig - dug end label that it used to be stuck on the inside of the cart .

All i'm sayin is how often do you pop a "new" game in, and know, it was once a different, "new" game?
Cebus Capucinis
It would be fun to stick "This was formerly SwordQuest: Waterworld" stickers on them.....
Andromeda Stardust
Pepsi Invaders would be a pretty easy game to recycle, as there's less work involved, seeing as there's no label to remove... I bought a "mystery cart" a few weeks ago thinking I might get lucky. It turned out to be Space War. Pretty much a Combat clone with space ships.
