+cmart604
I can't ignore the separate releases. While in some cases the differences may just be new packaging, to me every single "release" must end up on my shelf. My list includes all four 4Tris, both Same Game, etc. But then, that's me. Everyone else's mileage may vary.

Rev
I agree with your list as it being 'seperate release titles'. But Lets work on a list with all the various reissues and versions as well for the hardcore collectors.

+SoulBuster
I agree that all variations are collectible. But the basic set of games released is shown above. In order for me to complete the Platinum 125 level, I just need to have 1 version of each game on the list of 125. So to complete my homebrew/post 125 list, I just need 1 version of each of those games above. I have that now. 40/40. Ignorama
I agree with SoulBuster. Variants doesnt matter when we are talking about a complete collection of homebrew titles. Even smaller ROM-Patches do not count for me. There are 40 different titles, period.
+thegoldenband
Wait a minute, I thought Mouse Trap was just a variant re-packaging of the released game. Was there additional content in the ROM?
+intellivotion
I agree with the most of you, and I think that the same logic as the list of 125 should be applied here. The list of 125 does not include the reissue second edition of Pac-Man by Intv, with different box, different manual and even different ROM. This list should not include the second edition of SameGame & Robots The list of 125 does not include the Demonstration cartridges, This list should not include the DotC demo. But... What about Mouse Trap? What about Hover Bovver (not complete, but playable)? Edited August 7, 2015 by intellivotion
Albert
So, is this list counting just physical cart releases, or ANY homebrews? I am mostly interested in physical cart releases (doesn't have to include a box). ..Al

+Lathe26
I agree that demo carts shouldn't be include since the 125 list doesn't include them. This leaves Hover Bovver - The Half Cut Edition off the list since it is an early demo of the upcoming full game.
+SoulBuster
I too am still wondering about the recent Mouse Trap release. While it is a nice addition to my collection, if we follow the 125 logic, it is a package variant, which would reduce the list to 39. But then the books on the 125 era was closed years ago. It is a Post 125 release, so I see the point of including it. If excluded, then do we exclude Donkey Kong Arcade, DK Arcade and D2K Arcade as well because Donkey Kong was previously released? No, I think/vote 40 is the number.
+intellivotion
If we keep on following the logic we are talking about, imho Donkey Kong Arcade and DK Arcade should be variants of the same game (like Pac-Man by Atarisoft and Pac-Man by Intv), D2K would be a different one, it would be like a "Super Pro" Donkey Kong Arcade. Didn't we go through all this already in the other thread? I believe it's the same argument, and it was decided. Though I agree that Moustrap snuck through while everybody was talking about Donkey Kong. Hmmm.. What to do...

True, following the logic, D2k would stay as it like a super pro Tennis or Super Chef BT. Heavily modified. So going back: Any version counts as one of 125. So in the Post 125, Any version counts as one the 40. This would include Mouse Trap as a Post 125 release. Donkey Kong Arcade/DK Arcade is counted as a release and D2K counts as a release even though it has DK Arcade on it. I refer back to the Triple Challenge Cart. No, I think/vote 40 is the number. I disagree. If Mouse Trap is a repackaged re-release of a game in the 125, with the gameplay unchanged, then it's in the same category as INTV Pac-Man: a variant, not a game in its own right. Donkey Kong vs. Donkey Kong Arcade is a totally different beast. Looks like 39 from here. No demo carts, no variants (I agree Donkey Kong Arcade and DK Arcade should be treated as variants of each other).

Then there is: It was not released during the 125 and is considered a Post 125 Release and is unlike any other Post 125 Release. This is also valid.
