+jedimatt42
So, we can't let a day go by without more files for the FlashROM 99 Here is the compiled basic collection from thread: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/252327-compiled-basicxbasicetc-games-compilation/page-1?hl=+compiled%20+basic APERTURE8.BIN - Requires 32k expansion BLOXO-TI-Z8.BIN - Requires 32k expansion CAMELOT8.BIN - Requires 32k expansion SHOOTINGSTARS8.BIN - Requires 32 expansion And up here, you can get the Mars Attacks image: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/253095-flashrom-99-image-repository-617201616/page-3?do=findComment&comment=3532708 -M@
+Schmitzi
. I save my files like "GAMExyz-8-32K.BIN" or "Bigfoot-8-MBX-32K.BIN", so it is very easy to identify them later. Thanks for all this great conversions. It´s a big fun to explore all this software xXx
+Schmitzi
Hi, I went through the whole thread, up to here, and renamed my 32K-needing BINs (&MBX) like mentioned before. So here is the rest of of files, where NO comments were left abot "32K" needed. Can this be confirmed ? (Maybe Forth needs 32K ?) Without 32K: EDIT: this pic is wrong, as ALL of the BINs up to here (except the BankTest.bin) need the 32K 32K needed: EDIT: so this here is the half truth only For the 2 repositories from WHTECH (Classic_Carts & Homebrew) it is the same question. Next step for me is to add the "-8" on some files ==> Edit: DONE

+jedimatt42
Schmitzi, Everything listed in POST #1 needs 32k, except for BANKTEST.bin - As of today, June 18th 2016. A few of those carts actually run from the ROM space, but for other reasons they still need 32k expansion ram. -M@
+Schmitzi
Ah OK, thanks. So I just change them all but not the BankTest. It is not so important for me, as I have 32K on every system, but I want to have it correct in my repository, for later maybe, and to prevent a needed extreme walkthrough maybe in a year And as long as only the BankTest.BIN does not need 32K, there is no need for me to divide the BINs in two seperate sub-folders. I can FCTN-8 (redo) that if more of non-32K come up. thx xXx
Manic1975
What about Atari games? This way you can have all Atari games on one place.
+jedimatt42
What about Atari games? This way you can have all Atari games on one place. Most, if not all of the atari games are in the 'whtech' links in post#1.. those are pure rom, and don't require 32k expansion ram. -M@
+remowilliams
And.. some more TreasureIsland.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Hangman.BIN (requires 32K expansion) BlackjackPoker.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Othello.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Soccer.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Football.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Caverns.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Hopper.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Wumpus.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Spacebandits.BIN (requires 32K expansion) Moonmine.BIN (requires 32K expansion)
PeBo
If I may be so bold as to make a request, the title I miss most from having 2.7 Suite plugged in almost permanently (besides XB itself) is Solitaire. Can still load it via E/A5, but would be nice to simply have it as a menu entry
+eebuckeye
Wow.. we are going to get over 172 easy... would be awesome if you could pick a number that would act as a directory and then point you to a specific list of files (i.e. like directories on the SD card).
+Schmitzi
. Maybe if we could make sub-directories on the SD-card with names as wanted, and that the FR´99 automatically generates/shows this subdirs using their names as submenus on the startscreen, with the BINs as following menue-entries if you select one of this submenus/subdirs ? wooo Ralph, I know, work work work xXx

+jedimatt42
Thanks Remo! For Moon mine in particular, I hadn't found a version that still had the 'you'll never get me' speech working when the Zygonaut approached. That event in this game made a big impression on my as a child. It was probably the first monster that ever spoke in my experience -M@

For Moon mine in particular, I hadn't found a version that still had the 'you'll never get me' speech working when the Zygonaut approached. The MAME Zip version (and RPK) has this phrase. Found with SPEECODER: A000 - Advance to next level A110 - Bonus points gained A1F0 - Extra crew member A2BA - Good shot captain A396 - Monster destroyed A46A - Way to go captain A54A - Lasers overheated A66E - Monster damaged ship A75A - Monster attacked crew A838 - Crew member lost A8D4 - Detecting unknown object A9F6 - Zygonaut approaching AAD2 - Continue game captain ABC2 - Coolant is running low ACA4 - Water ahead AD6A - Water tanks full AE2E - Out of water captain AF06 - Congratulations captain B010 - (Zygonaut) Hahahaha B084 - (Zygonaut) You'll never get me Also with SPEECODER, I retrieved the last phase and saved it as MERGE on the disk image. moonmine1.dsk

Also with SPEECODER, I retrieved the last phase and saved it as MERGE on the disk image. Cool! Thanks. I should look inside my EA5 version and see if it is just corrupt, or if it was removed. I might figure out how to make that a ring-tone -M@
+mizapf
I know that my Moon Mine cartridge (yes, I bought that one... ) had this phrase, but it came pretty rarely. You may possibly hear that phrase only every fifth encounter or so (from my memories). Fun fact about my Speecoder: I did not know that back in 1989 I actually planned for multiple GROM banks. You may know that it is possible to start MAME with two cartridges plugged in: mame ti99_4a -gromport multi -cart1 editass -cart2 moonmine -peb:slot2 32kmem -peb:slot5 speech -peb:slot8 hfdc -flop1 speecoder.dsk I discovered with some surprise (yes, still my program!) that in Speecoder I can type in a GROM address like 1A000, which accesses A000 via 9804. Seems as if I'll invent a time machine in the next time. Shall I pass some more infos to my earlier self? Visit someone of you? As it showed that I've been launching that tool more often than ever expected, I started with a page on Ninerpedia. http://www.ninerpedia.org/index.php?title=Speecoder
+mizapf
Here is a complete list of speech phrases in Moon Mine. I cannot really speak Spanish, but with some help of Google Translate and an open ear I got these phrases. http://www.ninerpedia.org/index.php?title=Moon_Mine Could someone please listen to the Zygonaut in ZYGONAUT on the attached image and tell me what he says (in Spanish)? moonmine1.dsk
