leech
Totally unrelated to anything Ataribox-related: I can claim a Six Degrees of Bacon connection to that film. Admittedly, it's tenuous, but I'm gonna roll with it One of the Atari consoles in my collection is a Super Pong. It's still in the box, complete with styrofoam, manual, warranty card, etc.... And it also has the original sales receipt from when it was purchased new. The receipt shows that it was sold through The Game Keeper store at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California. This was the location that was used for Morris' game store in the Cloak & Dagger film. Hey, I said it was tenuous "Glendale is a bodaciously small town, Lane. A fly speck on the map - a rest stop on the way to the ski slope. I can't even get real drugs here." Ha, I think the town in that movie is Greendale, but still a fantastic line from Curtiis Armstrong.

BiffsGamingVideos
On a side note, gamestop has/had a turkey day/black friday deal. XBox 360 for $60 with a $60 mail in rebate. You do the math. I found 4 of them (3 with 4gb hard drive and 1 with 20 GB hard drive. That one hard a few games on it). Ebay they are going for $50-$75 range depending on the hard drive capacity. They were open thur 4-10 pm and will reopen friday at 6am. In my area most were gone. So just go to their website, look up the stores in your area, call them and see if any are left. not valid in rhode island or connetecite for some reason. Do the math. $60 with a $60 mail in rebate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited November 24, 2017 by BiffsGamingVideos

Don't see how you will get rebate on all of the 4 consoles, considering only one is an original model, and the rebate only applies to 2 per customer according to the fine print(I guess that could be worked around by going in with a friend). Buy as many as you can. Then just have friends and family rebate 2 of them each. I ASSumed that was obvious.

Yeah I figured and mentioned using friends to help but I was mainly wondering as well though about where the ad says original model Xbox 360, which the 4GB models are not, and the rebate not applying to those. +x=usr(1536)
Ok, I just found this being new to Atariage forums. Searching Indegogo for Ataribox yields nothing. There are no videos or even much information on their web site. Y'all talking about this back in June and now it's late November. This, right here, explains a very large part of why this is (currently) a 113-page thread. We're coming up on half-a-year of hype with nothing to show for it. Until there's an ASIN or SKU assigned to it, it's vapourware. Pretty vapourware, but vapourware nonetheless.
BiffsGamingVideos
Yeah I figured and mentioned using friends to help but I was mainly wondering as well though about where the ad says original model Xbox 360, which the 4GB models are not, and the rebate not applying to those. I am 99% sure that what the 4 gb models and the 20 gb are included in the rebate. I went to 3 stores to get these. This is what they had. The 20gb model has a hard drive on it's top it looks like. The 4gb models don't, so I am guessing they are internal. From what I gathered, they are selling the 4gb models. So when they say older or newer, I think they are referring to these as a group. I THINK the original pro was 20 gb and the original core did not have a hard drive (4gb)?????????? Wikipedia At launch, the Xbox 360 was available in two configurations: the "Xbox 360" package (unofficially known as the 20 GB Pro or Premium), priced at US$399 or GB£279.99, and the "Xbox 360 Core", priced at US$299 Edited November 24, 2017 by BiffsGamingVideos
SignGuy81
The 4GB models are the slims and the E models sold without a hard drive(one can be added). It is flash memory. But yeah the ad pictured shows a picture of an original model and under it says original model making me think the rebate would only apply to the original model but yeah it could be possible they are still doing similar and have similar ads for the newer model 360s.
