...and for some sh*ts and giggles, I've added another new Hud option. The "mini" hud.

This is mainly designed as an option to reduce bandwidth and help performance.

So we now have "Jag", "Mini" and "PC" hud options for the player to pick from the Slayer  options menu.

You would think with a slimmer HUD and a bigger action window, the performance would take a hit rather than improve. But I don't know anything about that kind of thing...

Sweet!  Now when can I play it... the Jag has been gathering dust waiting in anticipation for it!  :P  Actually I have plenty of reason to dust it off with the Towers II and Kingdom of Edom, etc.  Just haven't found the time to!

Question: it is mentioned to have Pro controller support.  Didn't the original Doom have that?  (Granted since the buttons are just remaps anyhow, support is just kind of there.)

On the original Doom, the 4 & 6 buttons (the shoulder buttons) mapped to weapon selection. So we have remapped the buttons to allow the shoulder buttons to work as strafe. Pro controller isn't mandatory though.

We don't have a release date yet, there are still some issues to iron out and a proper optimization pass to do.

That would explain why the GBA maps were not included... That is a lot of features and QOL additions. Also, heck yeah for Doom II! :D

Forgive me for gushing a little, but this is spectacular.  I knew you guys had worked on the Super Shotgun, but I actually wasn't anticipating a full port of Doom II.  Of course I had hopes for a future project, but I didn't think we would see something this far along just yet.  And Heretic would be crazy.  Unless I'm mistaken, this would be the first console port of Heretic.  And to have that happen on the Jag would be ridiculous!

It's also great to see the Slough of Despair here (and the Tower of Babel, but we knew you had put that back in already).  I really am trying to avoid making comparisons to the 32X Doom Resurrection project, because it's a very good thing that both projects exist.  But I think it's options like the enhanced gore and shotgun effects, and HUD choices, that will make this stand out.  The Pro Controller strafing will be a nice bonus too...finally we can circle-strafe in JagDoom!

Really nice work on this, guys.  Thanks for keeping the Jaguar alive.
