BIGHMW
Well last year brought us some great games for when I did own an XEGS I was actually able to play, especially Gacek, what will this year's crop give us to perhaps woo me into re-acquiring an XEGS and playing them. matosimi
I submitted my entry as well. It is called "Binary Parasite", I'm not very happy about it (it's just a very short preview)...however considering time spent it is a miracle.

Kaj de Vos
Here's a little preview of List-XEX, showing its built-in usage help when running in a command-line environment:
popmilo
I'll just leave this small preview here Main gameplay, enemies were added in last 24h, it's a simple game where you look for treasure, avoid danger and look for exit from the maze, hope you'll like it. ps. Gfx code allows more colors than on screen in this version, gonna use it in next projects for sure. It's based on tech shown in reharden demo, 28 char wide pm underlay that gives choice of 4 background colors per char. Takes cpu cycles for pm repositioning and filling graf registers every scanline, but really gfx is possible, good for slow tile based games. 16

Can I ask do you plan to have different weapons, weapon upgrades, and co-op play - given this is inspired by Chaos engine? Would love to have gattling gun, lightning, cannon and flamethrower weapons for example. Also specials like landmines and perhaps other traps. Whatever the plan it looks great. RetroCoder
Here is a short video showing how the remake of Dschump plays. I wrote this game in the early 90's for the PC and had good feedback via shareware sales. Thought about doing a modern remake but got into 6502 code again, and here we have it: RetroDschump. Why Dschump and not Jump? Well there is a game called Jump! that I typed in from a magazine many, many moons ago, so the German distributers thought Dschump would sound like Jump and the name stuck On the technical side: Written in 6502 assembler using Atasm (https://github.com/CycoPH/atasm) RMT was used to make the music, thanks to Miker for putting it together. (https://github.com/VinsCool/RASTER-Music-Tracker) Graphics all done from scratch using Atari FontMaker (http://matosimi.websupport.sk/atari/atari-fontmaker/) Sprite animation done in a modified version of Piskel (https://www.cerebus.co.za/piskel/) I wrote a nice level editor for it in C# that I'll publish at some point (if there is interest)

I played it a lot as a kid. So happy to see a successor of it. I always enjoyed to good choice of colors and also this "height feeling" that came up with the scrolling. Dschump looks like it is really improved! Can't wait to play it great competition so far, btw..
